How did you wake up? With your alarm?

Let’s hear everyone’s sounds of alarms (or listen to a recording with different alarms and which one is

yours?)

Show one action without talking what you did before you came to school? Others

The trunk.

• I have here a huge trunk. Someone special gave it to me. He did not tell me what is in it, but he guaranteed me I won’t be disappointed. So I thought I bring it here today. Hope to share with you the excitement to unlock it. I have some keys here we could try. Who would like to pick a key?

Unlocking our school’s potential

Unlock the love story

Isn’t it true that love can break walls, unlock closed hearts and transform a human being into an active and positive person able to do be the best he is?

List in groups what does our school need to create a positive and active learning environment and write each idea in a cardboard key.

What is beneficial knowledge?

"I seek refuge in Allah from knowledge that does not benefit and a heart that is not humbled." (Rāzī, Mafāth al-Ghayb, vCommentary on Quran 3:79)

Outcome game• We do a circuit in the gym

with the theme ‘routes’. At the end of each track collect a card.

• When all cards are collected we pair two matching cards

• One card is the lesson, one card is the outcome of learning. Mark what is beneficial or not, humbling or not. What are the reasons?

• We identify and list the criteria for beneficial knowledge

Each child has his or her

treasure chestHow do you think now after this workshop how we as a school can support children leaving the school with:

•Having in their heart the deep understanding and feeling that Islam is the treasure of my life?

•I want to obey Allah and I want to serve Allah in the best way I can with the help of my talents and skills?

Handout of little treasure boxes. Write a little and personal note, fold it into the treasure box what is for you important to work on the coming months in shaa Allah
