ISF Ambassador Job Description R Your Main Role is to act as an ambassador for the Issaquah Schools Foundation in your building and school community by helping to raise awareness about the Foundation and its impact on our students. Requirements of the ISF Ambassador: 1. Attend Ambassador Orientation. 2. Give ISF updates at PTSA Board and/or General Membership Meetings. 3. Look for ways that ISF might better support and work with your PTSA/building and communicate that to the Foundation. 4. Fully understand and be able to speak effectively about the respective missions of your PTSA and the Foundation and to advocate on behalf of both. 5. Develop a full understanding of past and present investments made by the Foundation at your building, as well as district- wide investments that impact your school and be able to share those with your school community. 6. Invite your school community to attend the Nourish Every Mind events and captain your school’s table/s. 7. Your Main Role is to act as an ambassador for the Issaquah Schools Foundation in your building and school community by helping to raise awareness about the Foundation and its impact on our students.

There are a myriad of other ways you can serve as an effective ambassador and you are encouraged to participate in any of the following Issaquah Schools Foundation events as you are able.  If you can’t assist in the events below, or need support of any kind, please contact Betsy Cohen, the PTSA Council ISF Liaison. August through November (not September): All in for Kids Campaign

a. Make sure that all communications about All in for Kids is being disseminated through all possible channels.

b. Coordinate volunteer recruitment for All in for Kids Honk and Wave and posting of signs as needed. 

November – April:  Grant Season a. Distribute information to school community regarding Issaquah Schools

Foundation Grant opportunities. b. Participate in Balloon Brigade (surprising award-winning teachers in your

building).March – May:  Nourish Every Mind Luncheon & Breakfast

a. Support recruitment of Table Captains at your school and work with your school community to promote attendance.
