Isaiah saw himself (5)

God’s holiness revealed Isaiah’s sin

and unworthiness

He was uncomfortable in God’s presence.

The closer we get to God,

the more clearly we see our sin.

Isaiah saw God’s cleansing power (6-7)

God used a coal, touched by blood

and fire, to cleanse and purify Isaiah.

We can be cleansed by the shed blood of Christ and purified by the working of

the Holy Spirit.

Isaiah saw the world in need and

responded to God’s call to action (8-9)

Isaiah heard God’s summons for a

messenger to go to a lost and dying

people.

Isaiah immediately offered to go as

God’s messenger.

God can use any sinner who has met

God and been cleansed- for His

glory.
