In case of a fraud

➢Hackers are aware of the fact that all the information can be pulled out fromthe databases. In case, you find yourself stuck in the net.

➢1) Call your bank to confirm the breach and thereafter, block your debit card.2) Find out the amount debited from your account and inform your bankabout it.3) The bank will be held responsible if you find that unauthorised funds havebeen deducted from your account.4) Lodge a complaint with the police and keep a copy of the report.5) You can also send a legal notice to the bank.6) In case of inaction by the concerned bank, you may approach theombudsman within 30 days.7) If still unsatisfied, approach appellate authority, the deputy governor of RBI.8) Aggrieved consumers may also air grievances to National ConsumerCommission.
