History of Graffiti Art Graffiti art connects community and

creativity together. Graffiti are drawings or writing that have been scribbled or painted in the areas that are within public view. The first Graffiti artist was Darryl McCray, but he was popular by his tagging name called “Cornbread”.

What is Graffiti Art? Graffiti Art is a way to

express thoughts or feelings using creative drawing ideas that can combine alphabets also. Graffiti range from simple written words to amazing wall paintings.

Five Main Categories of Graffiti

1. Agnomical – It refers to initials or first names, nicknames, etc. It is graffiti, which signifies a name or identity of an individual or particular group.

2. Amorous – It refers to the expression of feelings. Amorous describes work that ranges from words carved in a tree to inner city parks.

3. The obscene and scatological – An expression of a kind of offensive feelings

Hip Hop Graffiti Font Types

Polla – It is an amazing brush font that really brings the text to life. It was created by Finnish designer Juha Korhonen.

Damsterdam – This font is actually in capital letters. It is created by rough brush strokes that gives it a unique look. It was created by Juha Korhonen.

Happy brown cat – It is not a traditional grafitti font. We can call it bouncy and funny form of fonts.

Urban Jungle – This font was created by designer Kevin Christopher. This type of graffiti font is actually perfect for the creation of posters and flyers. This is a very eye catching type of font.

Bombing – It graffiti font is very famous all over the world. It was created by the French designer Quentin Aquila

Tag Type – This type of font was actually inspired by Graffiti tags and it was created by graphic designer Andy Panchenko.
