Synopsis: Jeremiah is in prison, in a doomed city besieged by an army, and Jehovah tells him to buy a field. It doesn’t make sense, but Jeremiah obeys. Then asks God why. Jehovah’s answer reveals the reason that Jeremiah (and the people) should have hope. We can learn from this why we too should live as a people of hope.
“Let all that you do be done with love.”
