Royal-Sliding All types up to a total thickness can be executed with the Royal-Sliding. The right glass is available for every compartment within the Royal-Flat programme.

Royal-SafeSingle thermal pre-tensed glass

In order to get safety glass in the ISO-614, you need to pre-tense the glass thermally. This needs to be “fully tempered”. Then, the defragmentation will be as depicted in case the glass breaks. This is safe against damage. If it is combined with Royal-safe lami, you can also opt for 1 window fully tempered, and a window half tempered. In case the glass breaks, the half tempered window will ensure that the window does not fall out and there-fore will never create an open hole in the compartment.

Many types of laminate are available, whether you are looking for the dynamic strength, the bulletproof properties, the soundproof properties, the transparency or other wishes; by selecting the right interlayer with the right glass combination, the result is optimal. Clear, tough SentryGlas is the ideal interlayer for laminated low-iron glass. Compared with other interlayers, SentryGlas starts with a lower yellowness index (YI). And it maintains its clarity year after year, even at the outermost edge of weather-exposed laminates. But also alternatives like PVB / EVA / TPU are regular useful.

Within Royal-curve IGU, we also opt for the heat-edge spacer, which means there is no reflection of the framework, and the maximum aes-thetic value is obtained. Additionally, there is very little heat conduction as a result of which no condensation exists through cold conduction. If durability is important, the Royal-curve IGU is the best choice. The seal of the IG unit has the same composition as the structural and finish seal. Therefore, maximal compatibility and maximal durabil-ity are guaranteed. This application is also best for model windows because it always divides the pres-sure equally across the rim and the flexibility of the spacer ensures that it always takes the right shape.

Royal-ClearAll windows within the Royal-Maritiem programme can be produced with the Royal-clear coating, which provides maximum protection and requires minimal maintenance. Royal-Curve

This is curved glass in the desired geometric shape, with or without a chemical curing treatment, which makes the glass so strong that it is suitable for yacht construction. As a result of our experi-ence, nowadays we are able to curve glass in a way that shows hardly any disfiguration, so opti-cally, the maximal can be expected of the glass package. A black framework can be realised by applying specifically developed primer. Because the UV load in yacht construction can be high, it is important to attune both the primer and the seal to each other. We have a programme for this.

Royal-Curve safe This is a single sheet thermal pre-tensed glass panel which is damage safe. In case of the glass breaking, this will fall apart in fragmented pieces. Because the windows of Royal-curve safe are thermally pre-tensed, it can be used for sliding roofs. We can also produce larger sizes. Thermal pre-tensed glass can be fitted with a ceramic rim that is melted with the surface of the glass, and therefore has a durable connection with both the glass and the seal.

Royal-Curve lami The Royal-Curve series can be laminated, and therefore it can also be marked as safety glass. Various applications are possible. The windscreen is an example of this. Depending on the com-missioner’s wishes, within the Royal-Safe lami range, a laminate that will usually be pvb / eva or centry foil can be chosen. Within our programme, we also have shapes that are not made with foil but with a UV curing resin.

Royal-Flat colourWithin Royal-Flat colour, we are able to provide the glass with colours. We can do this for both cured and uncured glass. Royal-Flat colour /A The curd variety is fitted with a ceramic paint that melts with the surface of the glass to create a dura-ble solution that is suitable for every application, such as the bathroom, sauna, but also outside applications.

Royal-Flat colour /B This is a 2 component paint with a special varnish to generate a hard protective layer. This can be used in places where cured is not a requirement or when curing is not an option. This can be used for instanceand small volumes.

Royal-Sliding

In order to be able to deliver a complete package within Royal-Maritiem, we have included a sliding window system that is highly suitable for yacht construc-tion. Thanks to the equal closing sliding system, the sliding window is practically invisible when it is closed. Consequently, it is equal to the total glass package.

If the window is opened, the glass packages come inward a few centimetres and can be moved so the opening is freed up. This creates the effect that the glass package has become one with the ship in closed condition. By using the right preparation method and engineering, the ships get a complete new look if structural glazing is selected, and they each get their own identity in the market which gives them a distinguishing value and increases the commercial aspect.

Royal-Clear coating

A Royal-Clear coating can be applied on the outside of all glass packages delivered by us. The dirt resistant coating has a self-cleaning effect, and makes the attachment of salt crystals or other polluting substances impossible. The Royal-Clear coating can also be applied in the shower, sauna, or on the wind-screen.

Because the Royal-Clear coating contains no silicones, the coating connects with the surface of the glass package and is therefore a durable solution for the

preservation of your glass package.

Royal-Heating

Royal-Heating is a completely new technique (Transparent Electrical Conducting) that both keeps or makes the window free of condensation and increases comfort by letting the surface of the glass radiate heat. The technology makes it possible to let the surface of the window function as resistance through a new procedure. Therefore, the surface of the window can be heated without irritating wires being visible.

As a result of the low capacity this requires, approximately 80 watts per m2, new possi-bilities have arisen. It is a highly stable system, which provides great durability, needs no maintenance and cannot become defective.

Disturbing elements such as spinning ventilators and such have become completely superfluous. Because the surface of the glass radiates heat till 40 °C, the window is no longer a cold surface, but has become part of a comfortable and pleasant environment.

Royal-Privacy

Royal-Privacy makes it possible to make rooms opaque by simply pressing a button as desired. Royal-Privacy can be applied between flat and curved glass panels and can be combined in a lot of configurations. A surface can also be used as a screen, so that moving images can be shown using a beamer.
