2. TYPES OI: CRUCIBLES
2.1 The sizes for tht fc:ll3rving types of crucibles have been specified in this s:xndnrd:
a) ‘.A’ Shape - !ift-out type for I.lse ia pit furnaces - desiglated by rile 1,::tsr ‘A’

b: Buiin Type - fi’r use in ba!e-out and hoidiny furnaces - designated by the letter ‘i3’
c) Sputid Tiitiq Type - the letters ‘TP’
for use in tilting fur:;aces - designated by
d) Spouted Basin Type - rhe letters ‘TPU’
for use in tilting furnaces - designated by
e) Te,+Pour Tybe - for use in tilting furnaces - designated by the iettcrs ‘TP?“‘.
3. SIZES
3.1 The sizes and capacities of diflerent typos of’ graphite crucibles shall comply with the requirements given in Tables i to 5.
4. CRUCIRLE DESIGNATION
1.1 The designation number for each crucib!e shaii C<,iJs!zt c,f iiot rr.ore

5. SHAPE AND CONSTRUCTlONAL DETAILS

6. TOLERANCES
6.1 A toirrance of 52 percent on the external maximum of 5 mm shall be permitrcd.
