APPLICATIONThis alloy is primarily used for solderingaluminium like aluminium windows, doorsand mitre joints. Also used for outdoor guttersand siding, dealing holes in aluminium boats,repairing outboard motor castings, and mostzinc base die-castings.

ALU SOLDERING RODS

Colour of the rod is natural aluminium.

Eliminates the use of flux.

Tensile strength is 25,000 PSI.

Working temperature is up to 400°C.

Recommended gases for use: Mixed Gas, Propane or MAPP.

COPPER BRAZING RODS

APPLICATIONThis product is primarily for joining copper tocopper without the use of flux or copper tocopper alloys such as brass or bronze.

When a strong connection is desired, theserods can hard-solder up to 22 mm diameterpipe with MAPP gas.


Colour of the rod is copper.

Use of flux not necessary.



Recommended gases for use: Propane or MAPP.

BRONZE BRAZING RODS

APPLICATIONThis product is used for all generalpurpose brazing jobs. This is the largestseller for everyday repairs of steel, castiron, copper base metals, and galvanizedand malleable irons.

When a strong connection is desired, theserods can hard-solder up to 22 mm diameterpipe with MAPP gas.


Colour of the rod is white.



Recommended gases for use: MAPP.

NICKEL SILVER BRAZING RODS

APPLICATIONThis product is primarily for carbon andalloy steels, non-ferous metals, stainlesssteel, cast iron and nickel and brass alloys.

These rods will help join most differentmaterials.


Colour of the rod is blue.




Recommended gases for use: MAPP.

SOLID WIRE SOLDER

APPLICATIONThis product is used for all plumbingfixtures and pipes, hot water tanks andrefrigeration systems. Predominantly used for drinking water connections as it contains no harmful chemicals.


No flux core.

Best used together with a flux.

100% lead and cadmium free.

Working temperature is up to 220°C. Recommended gases for use: Mixed Gas/Propane/MAPP. The thickness, diameter and shape of work piece helps determine which fuel to use for an application.

ROSIN CORE WIRE SOLDER

APPLICATIONUsed for all electrical and general wiringapplications and appliances.


Rosin flux center core. Rosin core provides a strong connection, and eliminates need for external flux


Working temperature is up to 220°C. Recommended gases for use: Butane and Mixed Gas. The thickness, diameter and shape of work piece helps determine which fuel to use for an application. Propane or MAPP gas can be used, but these gases are normally too hot making the job more difficult.

ACID CORE WIRE SOLDER

APPLICATIONUsed for all tin repairs, sheet metal,non-electrical repairs and gutters.

This product provides the user witha strong general purpose solder.

FLAME SPREADER

APPLICATIONStripping of paint.

To be used only with the UL100-E Propane Pencil Flame Torch. Unscrewthe pencil flame burn tip and screw onthe brass adaptor with the flame spreaderattached.

The flame spreader widens the the flameto provide a very effective way to heat andsoften larger areas.
