This is shown by his costume as it is a full metal jacket that shows the audience that he is a superhero. The mid shot of a deep focus to the background which shows an explosion implies to the audience that he will be involved in violence and action within the film.

The close up of the protagonist using a weapon implies to the audience that the protagonist has a High-Tec suit which makes him more dangerous and makes his suit seems cool. The costume appeals to the target audience as it will be a key concept that is usually expected from an action film based on a superhero from a previous comic book as they will look to buy some merchandise.

The look between the protagonist and the female implies that there will be a romantic feel to the film as it seems like they have a lot of chemistry and the facial expression of the female looks very intimate.
