Benefits of local suppliers • Can react to changing weather better • Cheaper to mobilise and de-mobilise • Local knowledge and experience • Good PR for the owners of the windfarm • Future licenses may require more local content for

new windfarms



What more could be done to encourage this sector?

• Form collaborations / networks to sell a wider range of services

• Develop new operating models that align better with the drivers of the windfarm owners

• Develop a recognised Quality Mark to help with “bankability”
