7. Conclusion

Still open questions and problems with the DGNB:

Did some heard about the DGNB before this presentation?

Is the name DGNB functional as a brand (name) as LEED or BREEAM?

Should it be comparable with other rating tools?

Time gap between the first mover (BREEAM) and the DGNB? Is this advance of

around 20 years to big?

The new trend is to create a minimum standard for LEED and BREEAM, based on

this two tools. Should the DGNB participate in this process?

What are the advantages to choose DGNB and not LEED or BREEAM? USP?

Is the DGNB too technical? Too detailed?

The DGNB is at this time only for offices and administration buildings available.

What is the critical time to bring other modules (retail, public b.) on the market?

The DGNB is planned as an international rating tool. But is their an international

demand for a German seal?

7. Forecast

There is still a lot to do !!

Not only on the DGNB, but also on the comparison between all the rating tools!
