INTRODUCTION

The RDF (Rural Development Foundation) is a non-governmental organization founded in 1996 that runs two schools in Kalleda: Kalleda Rural School and Vanitha Achutha Pai Junior College. RDF maintains the values of punctuality, honesty, and transparency.

HISTORY

The RDF of nonprofit organization that began as a family initiative . . As far back as 1991, members of the Errabelli family discussed for wanting to give something

back to their village of kelleda. Then , in 1996 , he inaugurated the first RDF school , an organization which involve

not only education but also improving healthcare , infrastructure and more &

more.

VISION , MISSION & TARGETS

VISION – To promote

education as a vehicle for rural development.

MISSION – To make a life long

differences to the lives of rural underprivileged girls and boys through holistic education.

GOALS – To educate ,

empower and engage rural girls and boys.

ACTIVITIES

RDF organize various different activities which help the students to improve analytical skills,

creative thinking, and confidence that will help them become exemplary leaders both within

RDF and throughout their life after. Like school banks , Honesty box , Students

committee question bank , Sudoku.

SPORTS

Various sports facilities are also provided to the students. Like arches , karate etc.

Vardineni Pranitha was a member of the Indian team for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, and for the Asian Junior Championships in June 2007.

FACILITIES

There are various facilities provided by the RDF i.e.

FOR HEALTHY BODY &MIND – midday meal , uniforms and textbooks are provided to the students.

FOR EMPOWERING THE GIRLS – convincing the parents to educate their daughters.

But RDF school took her and give her education.

There are various partners of RDF school i.e. RDF started partnership with Euro school of Hyderabad in

2009.

And with Silver Oaks School in 2006. These school provided various assists to the RDF

HOW DO RDF SCHOOLS DIFFER

FROM OTHER SCHOOLS IN THE

AREA?In the RDF school , children get a high degree attention .Their class size is limited to 25 at lower level and provide nutritious meal. full 97.4% of the budget goes to run the schools. Only 2.6% is spent on administration and the rest is poured into running the schools

CONCLUSION

Now it overall conclude that RDF school at Kalleda help the poor children as much as it could .The number of children attending RDF schools has increased as more villagers enrolls their sons and daughters. . Teachers promote social awareness and have students debate current events like dowry, pollution, gender roles.
