A GUIDE for i-TICKET & e-TICKET BOOKING

• Indian Railways is one of the biggest railway networks, operated by the

Indian Gov through the Ministry of Railways.

• A Registered with First Flight Tours & Travels as Authorized E-Ticket Franchisee.

• Download Class 3 Digital Certificate or Software from software CD.

• Insert e-token in the USB port of the system and wait for 1 Min. (In case if you

have taken Digital

• Signature in USB Token Format.

• Go on homepage of IRCTC www.irctc.co.in and click on Agent Login.

A GUIDE for e-TICKET BOOKING

• Insert the USER ID and password given by IRCTC. Click login to Continue.

• The "Plan my travel and Book tickets" page appears.

• Use help option for any help required to book tickets.

• Select your train from the list that appears on the screen.

• If the From/To station selected by you are correctly in the route of the train

then:

• Select e-Ticket option.

• The list of e-ticket trains will be highlighted.

1. What is the difference between i-Ticket & e-Ticket ?

If you are booking your ticket online then you will be provided with

2 options.

iTicket & eTicket.

iTicket - Here Tickets will be delivered, to the shipping address that you have chosen

on the reservation form.

eTicket – Once the ticket is booked online, you can just take the print out of it and

carry it during your journey.

Also, please carry your ID proof in case of eTicket.

Note : In case if you forget to carry your e-Ticket during your journey, a charge of Rs.50/-

per ticket shall be recovered by TC and an excess fare ticket shall be issued.

QUICK i- & e-TICKET BOOKING

Step 1: Register as an individual

•Login by entering your user name and password.

•For Quick Book click on the link “Quick Book” after login

Step 2 : Select Ticket Type as E-Ticket or I-Ticket for quick book.

•Click on Submit Button for entering passenger details and Replan for entering new journey details.

Step 3 : Payment options are available

• Select Bank. • On click of "Make

Payment" You will proceed to Banks for booking.

2. How to Book Railway I-Tickets Online using IRCTC ?

Register as an individual is FREE.

Login by entering your user name and password.

If the From/To station selected by you are correct in the route of the train then :

Select e-Ticket option.

To find train list, click on "Submit" button.

The List of Trains show the number of trains available for that route.

2. How to Book Railway I-Tickets Online using IRCTC ?

To get the fare and availability, click on class link available under "Train Between stations“. he

service charges charged by IRCTC and by the Bank (Credit Card/Direct Debit).

To select the train from the train list, click on the type of class available in the selected train.

If you will click on the class in the train list then it will show the availability

To book tickets, click on "Book Now" link under availability option.

If you wish to select other train, click on class link of that train.

2. How to Book Railway I-Tickets Online using IRCTC ?

Ticket reservation page appears; check whether the train name and the station names

displayed on the top of the page are same as desired by you.

Enter the names of the Passengers, age, sex and berth preference for each Passenger. The

maximum length of names should be restricted to 15 characters. If the Passenger is a senior

citizen (60 years and above for male and 58 years and above for female) and wants to

avail Senior Citizens' concession (40% of Base fare for male and 50% of base fare for

female), click the box provided. Senior citizens are requested to carry some proof of age in

original during their journey. A sample form is reproduced below. (The allotment of your

required berth depends on the availability).

If Your Registered Address does not come under I-Ticket delivery area, Please select Other and click

on link "Search PIN" for valid pin code

The ticket details, availability of tickets at the particular time and

the fare, including the service charge, appear on the screen, along

with the payment option Follow the instructions.

"Payment Option" Select the Payment Mode and Bank From the

Drop Down List.

After successful payment and booking of accommodations, the User is shown the ticket

confirmation details along with a “Print Reservation Slip” Button. On clicking the button ERS is

shown with an option to print.

The customer can subsequently also print Electronic Reservation Slip from the 'BOOKED TICKETS'

link on the left navigation bar.

3. How to Book Railway e-Tickets Online using IRCTC ?

Once the ticket is booked online, you can just take the print out of it and carry it during

your journey.
