KUWAIT

Kuwait is a small country located in the Middle East onthe Persian Gulf, between Iraq and Saudi Arabia. It isa desert country with intensely hot summers and short,cool winters. Tunisia is located in North Africa on theMediterranean coast. It is bordered by Algeria to thewest and Libya to the southeast.

With a total land mass of 59,984 square miles/155,360square kilometers, Tunisia is slightly larger than thestate of Georgia. It is mountainous in the north andextends into the Sahara Desert in the south.

The capital of Tunisia is Tunis, located in the far northof the country.

The official language of Tunisia is Arabic. French actsas a language of commerce and is spoken by aroundtwo thirds of the population, while Berber is theprincipal language of the south.

The city populationcurrently stands at over 3.4 million inhabitants.

Casablanca is the biggest city in Morocco located onthe Atlantic Ocean and was modeled on the city ofMarseilles by the French in 1920s. It is the capital of theregion of Greater Casablanca and is the principaleconomic capital, the primary naval base.

With a population of about 3.1 million, Casablanca isthe main center for business and commerce inMorocco, with all important industrial facilities andinternational companies being based there. Hence, itis also considered to be Morocco's economic capital,and is well-connected to the rest of the country withexcellent roads and railways. It is also home to one ofthe largest artificial ports in the world, which alsohouses the primary naval base of the Royal MoroccanNavy.

Algiers is built on the slopes of the Sahel Hills, whichparallel the Mediterranean Sea coast, and it extendsfor some 10 miles (16 km) along the Bay of Algiers.

The city faces east and north and forms a largeamphitheatre of dazzling white buildings thatdominate the harbour and the bay. The city takes itsname (Arabic: “The Islands”) from several small islandsthat formerly existed in the bay, all but one of whichhave been connected to the shore or obliterated byharbour works. Pop. Almost half Jordan's population is concentrated inAmman; Jordan's capital. Amman as we see it now isthe civilized capital of the Hashemite kingdom, it hasevolved a lot from the late 19th century when EmirAbdulla Ibn Al-Hussein established it and since then ithas become a modern capital holding the richtourism sector, as well as educational, economic,health …sectors; all commercial, cultural and politicalactivities are centralized in Amman. It is home for allinterests.

It is very well known for its seven hills that are burst withstone colored houses of plane roofs.
