The Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) of the IQAC
All NAAC accredited institutions will submit an annual self-reviewed progress report to NAAC, through

Legal literacy Program
Are their rights and entitlements under law. It is this absence of legal awareness which is responsible
for the deception, exploitation, and deprivation of rights and benefits from which the people suffer in
the state. Students are the link between rural areas by seeing this to creates awareness regarding legal
and environmental issues was organized in the college under chairman ship of Hon’ble Principal N.J.
Meshram. The main speaker was A.R. Survey. He mentions in his speech how law protects from
birth to death and enlighten students about the right to save environment and their responsibilities
towards nation.

Feedback
The feedback committee collected the feedback from the students of B.Sc.I,II,III in the
form of questionnaire containing different question covering curriculum, performance of
faculties, library facilities, academics, infrastructure and different facilities provided by the
college. Also feedback was obtained from students parents about the academic performance of
their wards and suggestion for the improvement of the college. Feedback from faculties and
supporting staff was obtained in the form of questionnaire. Feedback from alumini for further
improvement is also taken.
The questionnaires neatly filled in were scrutinized and data was furnished. Out of total
samples obtained randomly selected few samples (sizable samples) are analyzed. The index of
the same was 3.47 on the scale of 4 points obtained underlying the standing of the institution is
premier one in the rural catchment area.

(i)Students co-operative stores
l. Title of the practice:- To run Students co-operative stores -Shri R R Lahoti Science
College Cooperative Consumer’s Stores Ltd. Morshi (Reg. No ATI/ARM/CON/255).
2. Objects:-
The objects of the society are as under
To purchase and sale of books, notebooks, scientific instruments, chemicals, stationary ,
foodgrains and others essentials consumers goods in reasonable price
To sread the message of co-operation and inculcate the spirit of co-operation among the
members and students
To undertake processing activities of the consumers goods.
To run canteen and mess.
To undertake the supply of essentials commodities including the foodgrains and daily
necessities to its students community in general and to its students of its hostel in particular
and also to the members of teaching and nonteaching staff of the college.
3. Context:-
The institute situated in rural area having students of agricultural background.
It is beneficial by providing the stationary and food grains at low cost.
4. Practice:-
The project is run on no-profit no-loss basis
It is beneficial to all the students of this college.
Every month there is meeting between directors of the store and students representatives.
The stationary and other items are sold in reasonable price on no-profit no-loss basis.
We try our level best to fulfill the student’s requirements.
5. Evidence of success:-
Students deposit their share to co-operative store every year.
After 2 or 3 years shares are refunded with dividends as the case may be.
Students purchase their educational and academic stationary from the store.
Students convey and inform about their requirements in the meeting through the students
representatives.

Goal of the Practice: The goal is to make awareness among the students on the latest books available in
their subjects and creat awareness about library books collection.
The Process: A set of reputed book publishers and distributors are invited to display the recent books in
the exhibition and also displays old available books of the college library.
Impact of the Practice:
i. Book selection process is possible for the faculty members and the students are interested to
buy books for their information needs.
ii. Users will acquainted with the college book collection.
Resources required :
1. User orientation (Information literacy programme)
Goal of the Practice: Creating awareness on library resources, facilities and services among new users
and thus to ensure optimum use.
The Process: This is orientation programme to freshers who have joined the college during the academic
year. Instruction and presentation on use of catalogue and familiarization with organization of
collection, type of resources available and range of services provided is highlighted. Information on
rules and membership enrollment is provided. Students are taken on conducted library tours in groups
to familiarize with various sections
Impact of the Practice: Encourage students to use the library by motivation. Inculcate reading habits
and self study among the students particularly undergraduate students
2. Library best user award
Library best user award: To attract more students to visit the library and use the resources.
The Process: Data is gathered through visitor register maintained in the library. Usage data is compiled
through circulation of library items. Based on the above data and the observations of the librarian one
best user award are given to the student who has made maximum use of the library. Cash/book in the
form of award is given to best user from the each discipline
Impact of the Practice:
Increase in frequency of visits to the library
Increase in the use of library reference materials.
3. Compact storage of less used collection
Goal of the practice: Every Library will have its less used collection. Over a period of time these
collection will increase due to the syllabus changes, out dated contents etc. This will reduces the

chances of the popular book to draw the attention of its users due to crowded less used books. Hence it
was felt appropriate to separate the less used collection and shift to the compact shelving.
The Process :
The process of separating less used collection is done with the help of circulation data and the
suggestions of Faculty and Students. These less used books are being stored in the compact storage
unit. As all these books are already in the digital database, their location will be shown on dormitory
storages. Once the user searches the OPAC and demand for any of these less used collections. The
Library staff can find and supply the required book and replace after its use
Impact of the Practice : The major problem of less used books can be reduced to zero. At the same
time intellectual knowledge contained in these less used books will be retained for the reference of the
future generation. User’s time in retrieving the documents also is saved.
5 . Student participative programme :
Goal of the Practice: The goal of the practice is to involve students in the maintenance of the library and
thereby inculcate service mindedness in them on the one hand and library consciousness on the other.
The Process: The students are imparted knowledge about the library and it’s functioning by trained staff
before involving them in the activities of maintenance and up keep of the library.
Impact of the Practice: Development of a positive outlook and attitude in students and awareness
about the value of a library and its services. In addition, the maintenance staff is benefited by the
assistance of students
6. Merit students book bank
Goal of the practice : : To motivate brilliant students to go further in study by avoiding cast and gave
them opportunity to learn
The Process:
Our central Library provide books for the whole year to the meritorious students. College doesn’t have
any grants for Book Bank. Students who stand in order of Merit in their class in the respective years
from the college exam. These books can kept these students for whole year or semester.
Impact of the Practice: Though our college is in rural area and all students are from nearby villages so
brilliant but financially weak students are not able to purchase books so we gave them these books to
kept to them and through that they get benefited.

The Process:
As special innovative activities of the library Chatradarpan has been started with the help of the
students. Under this activity the students display their articles, thoughts on current event, poems, which
help other students in making their personality. In the gathering distribute prizes for the best writers
also try to publish these materials in college magazine.
