    IMAGE Information Systems Europe GmbH does not accept liability for the illegal or improper

    use of the described software (see the End User License Agreement).

    iQ-WEB 6.6.2 is a component of the software system iQ-SYSTEM PACS and part of the medical

    device iQ-SYSTEM PACS 1.4 as registered according to 21 CFR 807.92(a)(2) with the FDA 510(k)

    number K062488.

    iQ-WEB is certified as a medical device for the storage, archiving and distribution of medical

    imaging data, reports and patient information according to European Council Directive

    93/42/EEC concerning medical devices and according to FDA 510(k).

    The certification according to 93/42/EEC does not apply when the iQ-WEB software is used not

    for human medicine but for veterinary medicine. When used for veterinary purposes, the CE

    mark applied to the software itself and to its corresponding user documentation is null and void.

    1 Introduction

    1.1 Scope of the document

    This document represents the iQ-WEB Instructions for Use for software version 6.6.2 provided

    by IMAGE Information Systems Europe GmbH.

    Disclosure level of this document is PUBLIC (PUB), which means that this document is freely

    available to anyone interested, such as resellers, current end users as well as potential

    customers. Primary color is orange.

    Symbols used on product labeling:

    1.2 Purpose of the software

    iQ-WEBs intended use is to be a picture archiving and communication system for medical images

    and reports. It receives, stores and distributes imaging data and reports within a medical

    network. Patient studies created at modalities are typically sent to iQ-WEB for storage and

    archiving. Radiologists, physicians and other medical personnel access the data on iQ-WEB

    through workstations for reading, viewing and reviewing purposes. The application itself is

    divided into a server and a client component. The server component provides the main

    functionality of the intended use, i.e. the DICOM communication and the image data

    management including tasks such as storage and distribution. The client components main

    purpose is to facilitate the administration and configuration of the server component.

    NOTICE: When the iQ-WEB software is used not for human medicine but for veterinary medicine, the

    product does not fall under the European Council Directive 93/42/EEC and, therefore, does not

    qualify as a medical device in the EEA. The regulations of the 93/42/EEC do not apply.

    As a picture archiving and communication system iQ-WEBs intended place of action is integrated

    into the medical workflow and physical network of hospitals, imaging centers and radiological

    practices where it runs continuously and is frequently accessed by the users themselves.

    It is intended to be used by trained healthcare personnel only. Named by their profession these

    are radiologists, physicians, medical technical assistants, PACS administrators and IT

    administrators. The necessary information on how to use iQ-WEB is given by detailed user

    documentation and recurring trainings and workshops provided by the manufacturer or

    authorized sales partners.

    iQ-WEBs functionality can be extended by various modules that are independent in their design,

    development and documentation processes. These modules are the DICOM viewers iQ-X and iQ-

    4VIEW, the HIS/RIS interface iQ-WEBX WADO, the mobile GUI iQ-WEB2GO as well as iQ-WEBX

    WADO HL7 and iQ-WEBX REPORT CONVERTER. As a solution these products can be advertised

    and sold together as a bundle.

    1.2.1 Intended medical indication

    iQ-WEB is intended for the use as Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) in

    hospitals, imaging centers, radiological practices and doctors offices, where it constitutes a

    central node in a DICOM-compliant network. As such, it receives digital medical imaging data,

    evidence data, reports and patient information created at modalities, diagnostic stations and

    information systems, stores and archives them for longer periods of time and allows their

    distribution within the medical network, e.g. to reading, viewing and reviewing stations, by

    forwarding and pre-fetching patient studies.

    The software is applicable for images of any supported modality and of any human or animal

    body part defined in the DICOM standard. Its aim is to ensure the availability of diagnostic

    imaging evidence and reports in those locations where diagnoses are formed and documented

    as a basis for therapy decisions. For this purpose, it also provides listing and search capabilities

    of the stored image data.

    No diagnosis or therapy/treatment will be directly performed with iQ-WEB. The device only

    contributes indirectly to diagnosis and treatment by ensuring the storage and the availability of

    all necessary DICOM imaging data and documented diagnostic results at all times and at all

    connected stations.

    The application itself is divided into two components:

    The server component, that provides the main functionality of the intended use such as the

    DICOM communication and the image data management, and

    The client component whose main purpose it is to allow for the administration and

    configuration of the server component.

    The main uses of the iQ-WEB software are:

    To receive, import and query diagnostically relevant DICOM patient and image data.

    To store and archive this data.

    To distribute this data to other stations by sending it on request or by forwarding it

    automatically.

    To perform lossless and lossy data compression.

    To transfer diagnostic DICOM data to the connected software applications iQ-X and iQ-4VIEW

    and to receive and store reports created by these applications.

    Additional uses are:

    To import non-DICOM data like pictures, images, reports or documents, e.g. from image files,

    portable document files (pdf) or scanners.

    To export and import DICOM data to/from portable media, e.g. CD, DVD or USB storage

    devices.

    To print medical images on DICOM film imagers in diagnostic quality and paper printers in

    non-diagnostic quality for clinical reference via a connected DICOM print station.

    To manually reconcile patient demographics and study information via DICOM modality

    worklist.

    To detect duplicate patient identities.

    The storing and transferring of DICOM data is limited to the SOP classes and transfer syntaxes

    stated in the DICOM Conformance Statement. DICOM-incompliant data is not supported.

    There is no direct patient interaction with the device, therefore there is no possibility that the

    device might lead to fatal fault or injury of a patient.

    1.2.2 Intended patient population

    iQ-WEB is not intended to be used by patients and is not directly applied to patients. But the

    software can be used to receive, store, archive and distribute image and patient data of any

    patient, regardless of characteristics, such as age, weight, gender, nationality, ethnicity or

    physical/mental state.

    The software device is used for the storage and distribution of medical imaging data of healthy

    clients (e.g. imaging resulting from screenings) as well as of patients with diseases and/or

    injuries.

    1.2.3 Intended users and user groups

    iQ-WEB is provided in different languages, but the default language is English. Language skills

    in either of the languages, in which iQ-WEB is offered, are required to use the software

    application properly. For the installation and configuration of the device, English language skills

    are necessary. The application user must also have knowledge of basic terms of medical image

    data. The user documentation included in the installation package is in English. Documentation

    in other languages will be provided on request only.

    iQ-WEB is intended to be used by different user groups, depending on the activities they perform

    with the device:

    PACS and IT administrators use iQ-WEB for administrative tasks, such as installation,

    configuration and maintenance, via web interface or application/installation files.

    Radiologists, physicians and veterinarians use the web interface directly for searching and

    selecting patient data and for accessing this data in connected web-based DICOM viewers

    (iQ-X, iQ-4VIEW) or transferring data to an iQ-VIEW station (iQ-VIEW call).

    Medical technical assistants, radiological assistants and PACS administrators use the web

    interface directly for data management tasks, such as manual import/export or patient data

    reconciliation.

    Medical technical assistants, radiological technologists, device operators and administrators

    of remote DICOM applications only use iQ-WEB indirectly via remote DICOM applications,

    e.g. for access to DICOM viewers, for sending image data from modalities or for retrieving

    data from iQ-WEB).

    The necessary experiences an iQ-WEB user is required to have depend on the user groups using

    the device.

    All users, independent from the activities they perform with iQ-WEB, must be familiar with the

    institutions medical imaging procedures and workflow. All users accessing the iQ-WEB web

    interface directly should at least have basic computer literacy. Those personnel using iQ-WEB

    only indirectly from another device need professional knowledge of the respective medical

    device.

    IT and PACS administrators responsible for managing the proper operation of the device within

    the network require:

    Professional knowledge regarding IT, computer and network structures and protocols.

    Work experience in providing and maintaining the proper use of computers, networks and

    software applications.

    Knowledge about the sites IT environment.

    Training regarding the institutions medical and radiological workflow.

    At least basic knowledge regarding DICOM communication and protocols.

    The following user training is required:

    For all direct users: studying of iQ-WEB user documentation (Instructions for Use for users,

    Administration Guide and DICOM Conformance Statement for device and network

    administrators).

    iQ-WEB product training for users by an authorized partner of the manufacturer.

    iQ-WEB product training for administrators to manage the proper operation of the device

    within the network (installation, configuration and maintenance).

    For all indirect users: appropriate training in the respective medical device, from which the

    indirect access is performed.

    The user interface of iQ-WEB is not genuinely designed to be barrier-free. Hence, seriously

    impaired users might not be able to use iQ-WEB. But specialized input/output hardware may be

    available, e.g. for users with motor-functional impairments.

    1.2.4 Conditions of use

    iQ-WEB is only intended for healthcare professionals and trained IT personnel in a healthcare

    iQ-WEB as software application is split into a server component and a client component that do

    not necessarily share the same location. Generally the server and client components are located

    in the network of hospitals, imaging centers, radiological practices and doctors offices. But tele-

    radiology scenarios are also possible.

    For the location of the iQ-WEB server hardware common sense of server IT should be applied.

    Meaning that a UPS, an appropriate hardware cooling system and restricted physical and digital

    access as well as a suitable cabinet ensuring proper ventilation and cooling are recommended.

    The client hardware can have virtually any location that is specified by the respective

    manufacturer of the device as long as a network/internet connection with the server component

    can be established. Typically, all user-conducted tasks are carried out in on-site offices or at

    front desks. Still, remote use in off-site locations is intended as well.

    In any case, it is possible that the user client is used in distractive environments. The distraction

    can be caused by other persons or necessity to leave the workstation (e.g. in case of attending

    to emergencies). Also environmental circumstances, such as noise, glaring display surfaces or

    surroundings that are too bright, can cause distractions. Additionally run applications could

    distract the user with pop-up messages or sounds or hide part of the application. Inattention

    caused by distraction could lead to use errors. Therefore, the client must be utilized in suitable

    locations regarding distractive ambient factors. Usage bundled with access to diagnostic reading,

    viewing or reviewing may require further location restrictions, these are defined in the respective

    document of the reading device.

    iQ-WEBs DICOM core is designed to operate uninterruptedly over extended periods of time.

    Scheduled restarts after 48 hours are nevertheless recommended. Typical interaction with the

    user client is intended to be sometimes for administrative purposes. The iQ-WEB user client is

    frequently used, however, if iQ-WEB is operated in combination with a DICOM viewing software

    (e.g. iQ-X or iQ-4VIEW).

    As software application, the device does not function on its own. It can only be used in

    combination with computer hardware and software. The applications use is limited to the

    computer hardware and software specified in the user documentation. The manufacturer only

    provides iQ-WEB for the defined medical purpose. The software alone is considered the medical

    device. Not included are any other components, hardware or software that may be needed to

    ensure the functioning of the workstation (e.g. operating system, network structures and

    displays). This also includes potentially needed runtime dependencies, even if they might be

    provided as part of the installation package for the convenience of the user. But the effects of

    such components on the medical device itself are considered and managed.

    The capabilities and the performance of the iQ-WEB software can be affected by limitations and

    failures caused by the hardware, the network or other software installed on the system.

    Therefore, the proper operation and the maintenance of the hardware and network are

    necessary. Instructions regarding hardware and software specifications as well as software

    maintenance given by the manufacturer must be adhered to.

    Hygiene factors, such as sterility, or other physical parameters do not apply, since iQ-WEB is a

    software application. But hygiene, sterility and physical and environmental conditions may have

    to be considered for the hardware on which the software is installed or that iQ-WEB is used with

    (e.g. displays or keyboards). This may depend on the environment in which the application is

    used (e.g. therapy or operating room). The instructions of the hardware manufacturers must be

    adhered to.

    1.2.5 Contraindications

    iQ-WEB is not intended for:

    Use with unsupported imaging data (see DICOM Conformance Statement) and data

    incompliant with the DICOM standard.

    Use in system environments not specified as supported by the manufacturer (see

    Administration Guide).

    Diagnostic reading or therapy decisions by using the JPEG/GIF data provided within the iQ-

    WEB web interface. (The diagnostic viewers iQ-X and iQ-4VIEW must be used instead.)

    Use as backup solution.

    The use of iQ-WEB for the following procedures is limited and not recommended for regular

    use:

    Use as main/central DICOM router for data distribution to other DICOM stations.

    Use as main/central DICOM router for data compression.

    Use in insufficient technical environments, especially with unstable VPN or internet

    connections, where a complete data transfer cannot be guaranteed.

    Storage of more than 500 000 000 images in the archive.

    1.2.6 Product life-cycle

    It can be assumed that the iQ-WEB 6.6.2 software application life-cycle is limited to 10 years

    after the medical device has been initially placed on the market. The life-cycle of the medical

    device will be reduced in case that supported hardware and/or software platforms reach end-of-

    life, become unavailable or unstable. It is highly recommended to use updated versions of the

    software application when they are placed on the market to ensure the state-of-the-art and

    increase the compatibility of iQ-WEB within the medical network. The manufacturer does not

    guarantee constant functionality and service when using the software beyond the life-cycle of

    the device.

    1.3 Warnings and precautions

    1. Misuse of the software

    Copies of this software marked as Alpha, Beta or Preliminary versions must under no

    circumstances be used for diagnostic purposes.

    that may put a patient or the user at risk, the user is asked to immediately contact the

    documentation and inside the application itself.

    Modifying application folders and or moving files to different locations, deleting or renaming

    them without considering other parts may cause problems in the functioning of iQ-WEB. Keep

    the file and folder structure intact and only follow the user documentations instruction for

    configuring the application.

    An insufficient wide area or local network speed can cause serious delays. It is strongly

    cause serious damage or even death to patients!

    The available hard disk space must be checked regularly once per quarter is recommended

    to ensure that enough storage capacity is available to temporarily save patient studies on the

    client machine. The computer must be shut down regularly to ensure the deletion of the

    temporary data.

    4 Use of the software application

    4.1 Login page

    Before any of the iQ-WEB web user interface pages can be accessed, you need to be

    authenticated at the Login Page as shown in the following figure. Here, a valid iQ-WEB user

    name and password must be entered to proceed.

    NOTICE: This may be a user account specifically created for the iQ-WEB access or it may be the same

    authentication you use to access your computer. Your PACS administrator will inform you

    about your access data and how often to change the password, if necessary

    Login page

    The login page contains the following input fields that must be filled in order to gain access to

    iQ-WEB user interface:

    AE title: This field is read-only and shows the iQ-WEBs AE title.

    Username: Enter the user name that was created for your access to the iQ-WEB web

    interface.

    Password: Enter the password set for your iQ-WEB user account.

    Enter Anti-Spam Code: This option is disabled by default. Administrators can choose to

    enable or disable this mechanism for security reasons.

    If you see this field, enter the anti-spam code as presented below the input field. A new code

    will be generated with every new login attempt.

    Complete the login procedure by clicking the Login button.

    4.2 Structure of the user interface

    After you successfully gained access to iQ-WEB the web-based user interface will presented. As

    characterized in the following figure, the user interface consists of the three main parts Main

    menu bar, the Content area and Footer status bar.

    4.2.1 Main menu bar

    The main menu bar is displayed at the top of all iQ-WEB user interface pages and its purpose is

    to help navigate through the various options and pages iQ-WEB offers. It allows a quick and

    easy workflow through the iQ-WEB interface. The structure and functionality will be explained in

    the following parts of these user instructions.

    Main menu bar

    The menu bar is divided into two sections. The upper section represents the different topics into

    which the individual features are organized. The lower section contains the detailed features or

    views that are available to the logged-in user.

    Generally, the upper section is selected first by clicking the desired topic. Afterwards, the

    requested feature or view can be chosen. The currently active topic and its available details are

    marked with white background. A blue background color marks the disabled topics. The orange

    color marks the selection over which the mouse hovers. Click a detailed selection and it will be

    marked orange until another selection is made.

    In addition to this general procedure, iQ-WEB also provides a quick select function. With a double

    click on the upper topic selection the most common item of the selected section will be opened

    directly, e.g. under VIEWS the EasyWEB page will open.

    The following sections contain the full list of available topics and detailed view pages.

    NOTICE: The content of the menu bar depends on the current users privileges and iQ-WEB settings.

    For detailed information about user privileges contact your PACS administrator or refer to the

    iQ-WEB Administration Guide.

    4.2.2 Content area

    The content area iQ-WEB presents between main menu bar and footer status bar is designed to

    present multiple types of content. This includes the following content types:

    Patient, study, series, image and DICOM Modality Worklist data that the system collected

    and stored

    Configuration data and administrative settings and information

    The content in the content area is represented in several ways to provide you with the best

    possible overview and increase the usability of your workflow. The following sections will explain

    all different ways of representing the content of iQ-WEB.

    4.2.3 Footer status bar

    The footer status bar is displayed at the bottom of all iQ-WEB user interface pages. It allows

    quick access to the current software version information and the licensing state of the

    application.

    The complete version number (including build number if applicable) is located on the left-hand

    side of the footer status bar and is important information to provide in case of support requests.

    In case the core license of iQ-WEB will expire or has already expired, the footer status bar

    contains a note about this fact in the center part of the footer bar.

    NOTICE: The footer status bar will also inform you when displayed image content is fit to be used for

    diagnostic purposes and when this is not the case.

    4.3 Views

    The VIEWS section lists all pages that will display specific data collected and stored in the iQ-

    WEB database. They give you the option to view the available image, report and workflow data

    on different levels and according to specific statuses. Most of these pages simply provide an

    overview about their respective domain. They allow navigation to further sub-pages that provide

    more detail on selected data.

    NOTICE: Accessibility/visibility of studies depends on user privileges, group dependent privileges and

    privacy settings of patients and studies. For detailed information refer to the iQ-WEB

    Administration Guide.

    Views

    4.3.1 Recent page

    The Recent page contains a list of all studies received on the current day. The list is limited to

    those studies that you have access to according to your user privileges. If no studies were

    received on the current day, the 10 most-recently received studies are shown.

    The Recent page is categorized as a study view. Find more on study views in section 4.3.7.4.

    If the number of studies exceeds the iQ-WEB default page size of 10 studies then the Recent

    page will be paginated. Refer to section 4.3.7.1 for more details about this mechanism. By

    default, studies displayed on the Recent page are sorted by the date they were received in

    descending order.

    Recent page

    NOTICE: By default, display of Recent page is refreshed automatically after 60 seconds. You can

    change the refresh period in you profile settings. For details refer to section 4.9.

    4.3.1.1 Recent page function buttons

    There are several operating buttons available in the top and bottom area of the Recent page.

    Because all views of study information contain the same buttons, a complete list of available

    buttons is given in section 4.3.7.3.1. Whether a specific button is shown depends on the

    privileges given to a user. Refer to the iQ-WEB Administration Guide, section Software

    administration for further information about user accounts.

    4.3.1.2 Recent page table

    The table is the center element of the iQ-WEB Recent page. It contains a combination of basic

    study information and patient-related details of all studies presented in it. The columns shown

    depend on the permissions of the currently logged-in user and the settings in the respective

    users profile. For further information about the profile settings refer to section 4.9. All table

    columns and available links for Recent page and other study level views are described in section

    4.3.7.4.2.

    4.3.2 Unread page

    The Unread page displays all studies that are accessible for the currently logged-in user and

    still have the unread status. Marking a study either read or unread is intended to provide an

    easy way to track the progress of the medical workflow. You have the following options to change

    this marker:

    Manually: Press the Mark As Read or Mark As Unread buttons to toggle between the

    read and unread status.

    Automatically mark as read by viewer: Opening studies in a viewer can automatically

    mark them as read.

    Automatically mark as read by AE: iQ-WEB can be configured to automatically mark

    studies as read if the studies are retrieved by one of its configured DICOM AE stations.

    patient. It provides advanced search and filter mechanisms to browse the available studies.

    These are described in section 4.3.3.2.

    The EasyWEB page is the default page. It opens directly when the iQ-WEB web interface is

    accessed. It is also possible to navigate directly to other pages of iQ-WEB by specifying the direct

    URL before you log into the system. In the following, you will find two examples how this can

    work:

    1. Accessing iQ-WEB with URL http://[MYPACS]/ navigates automatically to the EasyWEB

    page after user login.

    2. Accessing iQ-WEB with URL http://[MYPACS]/pacs/unread.php navigates automatically to

    the Unread page after user login.

    The URL of every page can be seen in the web browser that you use.

    EasyWEB page

    The EasyWEB page is categorized as a study view. Find more on study views in section

    4.3.7.4. If the number of studies exceeds the Entries per page filter setting of the EasyWEB

    page then the page will be paginated. Refer to section 4.3.7.1 for more details about this

    mechanism and section 4.3.3.2 for information about filter settings. By default, studies displayed

    on the EasyWEB page are sorted by the date they were received in descending order.

    NOTICE: A blank EasyWEB page can be forced by the administrator until the user executes the search

    filter. This might help improving medical workflow and avoiding clutter in the content area.

    For further details, refer to the iQ-WEB Administration Guide, section Software

    administration.

    NOTICE: If the license is expired or does not exist, the EasyWEB page will not be accessible.

    For details about licensing, refer to the iQ-WEB Administration Guide, section Licensing.

    Beside the standard buttons, the EasyWEB page offers special buttons which are described

    below:

    Show Filter: Click this button to access the filter / view configuration settings at the top of

    the EasyWEB page. This button appears only if the filter options are hidden. (Default)

    Hide Filter: Click this button to hide the filter / view configuration settings at the top of the

    EasyWEB page. This button appears only if the filter options are visible.

    The filter and view configuration settings will be described in the following section.

    4.3.3.2 EasyWEB page filter options

    The filter and view configuration settings are used either to hide not required study data for a

    better overview on the EasyWEB page or to specify the general view options of the EasyWEB

    page. These settings appear when clicking the Show Filter button in the button bar of the

    EasyWEB page. The following figure shows the available options:

    The settings are divided into the following subsections:

    Configuration: This subsection contains the basic view configuration settings of the

    EasyWEB page specifying appearance aspects of the content on the EasyWEB page.

    - Entries per page: This setting defines how many studies are visible per page before

    pagination of the EasyWEB takes place. Refer to section 4.3.7.1 for more details of this

    mechanism. By default EasyWEB settings are configured to show 20 entries per page.

    - Display link to Study Notes: This setting configure if a shortcut icon will be visible that

    represents a shortcut and directly links to the study notes of the respective study. If the

    option Yes is chosen, an icon ( ) on the very left side of each study presented on the

    EasyWEB content table will appear. So this is a fast way of adding/editing study notes

    to a study. For more information about study notes, refer to the section 4.3.7.6. The

    setting No is default configuration.

    - Open viewer in: This setting configures whether the selected DICOM viewer (i.e. iQ-

    4VIEW or iQ-X) opens in a new browser window (or browser tab) or not. If the option

    Current Window is chosen, iQ-4VIEW and iQ-X will use the current window or tab to

    show the images. If the option New Window is chosen, the viewers will use a new

    window or tab. If the browser opens a window or tab depends on the browser settings.

    NOTICE: It is not recommended to use the New Window setting when using the iQ-VIEW Call feature

    instead of iQ-4VIEW or iQ-X.

    - Always show filters: This setting defines if filter and view configuration settings are

    always visible or hidden after changes. If the option No is chosen, the filter view will

    disappear after clicking on Apply Filters. If the option Yes is chosen, the filter view will

    stay permanently visible.

    - Autorefresh Interval: This setting allows you to specify a time period after which the

    EasyWEB page is automatically refreshed. If an auto refresh interval for the EasyWEB

    page is selected, it will automatically update with the newest data. The minimum time for

    refreshing is set at 30 seconds. The value 0 deactivates the auto refresh feature.

    Filter by status: With this setting the user can filter studies which match the chosen status

    out of the full user accessible set of studies. Studies that do not match will be hidden.

    - Read Study(ies): Only studies that are marked as read will be shown.

    - Unread Study(ies): Only studies that are marked as unread will be shown.

    - All: All studies, either marked as read or unread, will be shown.

    - SR Status: All studies that contain a Structured Report object matching the selection for

    Completion and Verification. This may include unfinished reports created in iQ-4VIEW

    and iQ-X.

    NOTICE: The SR Status filter will only be visible if you customized your study views to include the

    table column SR Status. To display this column, click the User @ Database menu item and

    select Profile. Mark the appropriate checkbox under Customize Study Views Medical

    Workflow Related Information and save the changes.

    Filter by study date: This setting allows you to filter studies which are created within a

    specified period of time. Possible time spans or periods are:

    Today, Yesterday, Day before yesterday, Last 7 days, Last 14 days, Last 30 days,

    Last 90 days, All or a custom period defined by a [From, To] period.

    The calendar button opens a calendar to choose the period. The date can be manually

    entered as well.

    Filter by modality: This setting allows specifying a modality type filter. Only studies that

    match the selected modality will be shown. The possible modalities for filtering are: CR, MR,

    SR, DOC, CT, NM, RF, DX, OT, US, MG, PT, XA. This filter setting is taking the DICOM tag

    Modality into account.

    NOTICE: Contact the modality manufacturer to get detailed information about DICOM tags that are

    specified.

    Filter by other: This group of settings allows you to filter accessible content by

    miscellaneous data attributes.

    - Reading Physician: Here you can enter the name of a reading physician to show only

    studies of this reading physician.

    - Requesting Physician: Here you can enter the name of a requesting physician to show

    only studies of this requesting physician.

    - Referring Physician: Here you can enter the name of a referring physician to show only

    studies of this referring physician.

    - Date Received: Only studies received in the time period between two selected dates will

    be shown. The dates can be inserted into the From: and To: fields by the calendar

    buttons next to them or be entered manually, too.

    NOTICE: In this filter settings group the wildcard characters (*, ?) are supported. Where * is a

    placeholder for any number of characters and ? is a placeholder for one character.

    For data filters use the following format of the date:

    US version: YYYY-MM-DD

    European version: DD.MM.YYYY

    (YYYY = Year, MM = Month, DD = Day)

    - Source AE: Studies can be filtered by their Source AE from the dropdown list to show

    only studies received from this Source AE. For more information about setting up a Source

    AE, refer to the iQ-WEB Administration Guide, chapter Software administration.

    To use the filters and its selected configurations, click the "Apply Filter" button in the right lower

    corner of the filter section.

    In order to reset the filters and configurations to default, click the "Clear Filter" button in the left

    corner.

    NOTICE: The filters and configuration settings will be stored for each user in the browser cookie storage.

    The settings will be stored for a specific user if the user has logged into the iQ-WEB web

    interface from the same machine with the same browser with the same user information, even

    after several days. However, if the user changes the machine, changes the used browser or if

    the browser cookies are deleted or disabled by an administrator, the filters and configuration

    settings will be reset to their defaults. If you are experiencing any issues with filter results, you

    are advised to clear the filter settings once and try filtering again.

    4.3.3.3 EasyWEB page search fields

    The fields below the table headers can be used to search for studies by the respective criteria.

    All search fields, except date fields, support the wildcard characters * and ?. Where * is a

    placeholder for any number of characters the ? is a placeholder for just one character.

    For a detailed search by the patient name, each part of the name (i.e. last name, first name,

    middle name etc.) can be separated by a comma (,).
