Microcidal – kills 99.99% of bacteria, bacterial spores, viruses and fungi on contact, ensuring microbial load reduction in acute and chronic wounds.No resistance to hypochlorous acid (HOCl) has ever been reported and the solution is non-allergenic. The isotonic solution is provided at a neutral pH, when it is non-cytotoxic, ensuring fibroblast viability, tissue granulation and epithelialization with minimal scar tissue formation.Removes exudate, slime or biofilm by dislodgement due to the ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential).Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) solutions have been shown to assist in the treatment of: o Diabetic ulcers o Decubital ulcers o Venous ulcers o Burn wounds o Surgical wounds, etc.Reduction and even elimination of costly topical antibiotic substances
with known cytotoxic properties.
Method: In order to achieve rapid reduction of microbial load, rinse the wound with copious amounts of IQ CARE Wound Solution until loose and visible debris has been removed. Apply a gauze impregnated with IQ CARE Wound Solution and compress for 5 to 10 minutes every time the dressing is changed. Select an appropriate wound dressing as per international guidelines

Storage conditions:Store below 25 °C. Use within 30 days after opening the container.

History:The 50 year old patient has been a Type 1 diabetic for 41 years.
He had been subjected to the following treatments before the use of IQ CARE Wound Solution:

Treatment:Daily wound rinse with IQ CARE Wound Solution at body temperature.
Dressing: Hydroderm, transparent film dressing, changed daily.
Note: No antibiotics or topical ointment were employed in the treatment of the patient.
