it assessed the way nuclear safety is integrated into the organisation and processes of its central departments. The OSART(2), an international team of experts from third countries’ nuclear safety authorities, interviewed 250 employees. The audit notably looked at the handling of serious accidents, human resources, technical support, communications and maintenance operations. The report paints a highly satisfactory overall picture, with no departure from the IAEA standards and

CUSTOMER RELATIONSEDF won the Coup de Cœur special award of the French customer relations association (AFRC) for its innovative EDF & Moicommitments.
The Human Resources Department is actively involved in the Group’s e-transformation and in instilling a “digital culture” among employees. Online services have been rolled out to make life easier and enrich the Vivre EDF On Line social network. New online services include a bulletin board for job vacancies, time management applications (e.g. shared diaries, meetings planner, translation engines, a holiday planner), a personal ads platform and a car-sharing platform. Employees clearly appreciate these new digital services, with Vivre EDF On Line receiving an average of over 100,000 visits per month in 2014.

IN ITALYIn 2014 Edison and EDF Énergies Nouvelles created E2i Energie Speciali, Italy’s third renewable energy company, in partnership with the infrastructure fund F2i. The two subsidiaries contributed an installed capacity of 600 MW and hold 30% of the new company. Edison is responsible for marketing the electricity produced, and EDF EN Services maintains and operates the facilities. Through this innovative structure the Group can fund its activities while retaining industrial and commercial control of the installations and their output.
