iPassExam provide online education resources to help business professionals prepare for and pass their professional IT certification (exams).

iPassExam was born in 2009 when Directors Courtenays technological expertise in Distance Learning provided the perfect vehicle for sharing the learning material and to date has helped over 25,000 people from 110 different countries prepare and pass their exams. The free app was a natural progression from the website and allows users to prepare for their exams offline but still have the freedom to return to their desktop/laptop to find their questions and answers synched.

iPassExam give exam candidates access to thousands of practise MCQ questions that are written to match the style and format of the IT certificate theyre preparing to sit. The question banks categorise questions by the official curriculum and students can then work through the syllabus and check their understanding as they proceed. There is an opportunity to test yourself with mock exams taken in timed exam conditions, where the student cant pause the exam and their score is given at the end.

Some of our resources also come with personalised learning plans. Our system will generate a list of Key Learning Points (KLP) that outlines the users strength and weaknesses, allowing them to focus their learning where its needed. Each question comes with a question explanation which is perfect for getting a grasp on topics as you work. Our questions are kept up-to-the-minute by our resource editors and contributors, who are experts in their field. T here are also links available for further reading articles should the student want more in-depth study.

The app was developed for the iPhone iOS platform and is aimed at busy professionals who need to take short revision sessions between tasks or whilst commuting.

CEMAS have supported the apps development by providing access to a team of programmers who have experience in development for the app market.

The app is being developed through the support ERDF funding and CEMAS expertise. This has really helped us access markets that we would have struggled to engage with. As a very small business this opportunity gives us an edge on our competitors, none of which provide their customers with an app.

From the final product we hope to have further engaged our current customers by giving them alternative ways to study. We also hope to leave them feeling like they are listened to, customer requests are taken seriously by us. Furthermore, additional custom is hoped be gained, we hope to achieve at least a 15% increase in sign-ups due to the app.
