Management Team & BoardMichael Frank – President, CEO and Director

Michael is President of Mifran Consulting focusing on early stage planning and business development for emerging companies. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Sprylogics International Corp, a software company focused on semantic and local search from July 2007 to September 2011, and also served as a consultant until 2014. In the past, Michael was Senior Consultant with Woods Gordon, where he managed a variety of accounts for clients using IBM mid-range systems. Additionally, he served as Vice President of Strategic Alliances at Medcomsoft Inc., where he developed and managed all key strategic partnerships to accelerate market penetration and to build market share in the healthcare industry. Michael has over 20 years of experience in the high technology sector in operations, business development, mergers and acquisitions, and raising funding in the capital markets. Michael was Executive Vice President of Hutchison Avenue

Software where he was instrumental in the sale of the company to Intuit Corporation, as well as Vice President of Business Development at BrandEra.com, an online marketplace for the advertising community.

Michael has also held senior sales/marketing roles at Data General and NCR. As President of Mifran Consulting, he provides advisory services to a number of emerging technology firms, where he has been instrumental in business development and acquisition strategy. Michael is a graduate from McGill University.

Khurram Qureshi – Chief Financial Officer

Khurram brings more than 25 years experience in the field of accounting and corporate finance. Khurram qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1990 and has held Chief Financial Officer positions at Slyce Inc., Augustine Ventures Inc. and Lingo Media Corporation. He has been a key member on several merger and acquisition teams while working in the industry.

Manish Dixit – Chief Technology Officer

Manish is a visionary with over 17 years of industryexperience managing large to mid size enterprisesoftware projects. He has spent extensive timegrowing and building successful teams across theglobe (North America and India) and has been part of several successful technology start-up companies. Prior to starting Apt Software Canada, Manish was head of Canadian operations for Basil Communications (www.basilglobal.com: a global creative production agency serving the media industry). At Basil, he was a force behind successfully setting up several virtual studios for advertising agencies in Toronto. Manish was key member in the growth of Basil team from 20 people to over 100 people. He has also spent several years of his career in Silicon Valley. He was a member of the technical staff for the Tornado Development team, and a strategic integrator of several third party tools at Wind River Systems (www.windriver.com: a subsidiary of Intel Corporation, a world leader in embedded and mobile software). At Wind River, Manish got the opportunity to work with technology gurus and the leaders of the industry (Tornado/VxWorks Development Team – several of NASA’s aerospace

missions run on the VxWorks platform, including the Mars Pathfinder). He was also a member of technical staff at Accordion Networks (a Silicon Valley start-up in embedded/telecom space). Manish has gone through complete product development life cycle several times and fully understands the challenges involved in developing complex software systems.

He is a graduate in Computer Science fromCalifornia State University, East Bay, USA and alsois a co-founder at Double Door Communications(company focusing on offering Studio On-Demandand staff services to the creative and advertisingindustry). Manish is currently involved in mentoringand sprouting new technology start-up companiesand is also part of developing an open sourcesoftware platform for cloud based applicationdevelopment.

Malay Dixit – Vice President

Malay is accomplished with over 15 years of experience in sales, marketing and business development. He has won projects generating over $30 million in revenues throughout his career. Malay has a thorough understanding of Asian and North American markets (India, China, Thailand, USA and Canada). He is a co-founder of Indo-Thai Technical, Educational and Cultural Exchange Association (TECEA) – a non-profit organization working with the Government of Thailand. Malay also works as a strategy consultant to several successful firms in US, India and China. He recently completed an Executive MBA at the Richard Ivey Business School, Western University. Malay is proud to be a member of the vibrant Ivey community, supportive of new ventures and business strategies.

Millard S. Roth M. Sc. Ind. Mgt. – Director

Millard is a mature, successful senior executive, business consultant, “M & A” intermediary (Portstyle Enterprises Inc., Abolutekleen Tek Inc.). He is a business builder/fixer/team enhancer who has executed profitable growth plans and developed exit initiatives for an array of medium size enterprises.

Millard’s career has encompassed serving as: interim CEO (Atelier America Inc., CCC Information Services of Canada Inc., Canadian Motion Picture Distributors Association); Co-Chair Repositioning Committee (Baycrest Foundation); Member of Board of Directors (Vubiz Inc., Tengtu International Inc., Swing Stage Ltd., Kimball Aim Labels Inc.); Advisory Board (Earthfresh Farms Inc., Human Solutions International Inc.) and Presidents’ Coach (Inniskillin Wines Ltd., Shaftesbury Films Ltd., Menu Foods Corp., TMS Marketing Ltd.). Richard Zhou – Director

Richard is the President of the Evergreen Association, which is responsible for assisting in the development of the relationship between the governments of China and Canada. Evergreen is partner with the Chinese government, leading the program for senior financial leaders training delegations to Canada, including Bank of China, China Investment Corporation, CITIC, National Grid, Greenland Development corporation, Fosun Group, etc. In addition, he is the President of Green Panda Marketing Inc., a fundraising co-chair of the Liberal Party of Canada, and a Director of the Toronto Sick Kids Foundation Chinese Cabinet. Richard has a Bachelor of Science from the South China University of Technology and Science.
