IntroductionDefinition:

The Internet of Things (IoT) is the internetworking of physical devices,

vehicles (also referred to as “Connected Devices” and “Smart Devices”)

buildings and other embedded devices and systems in order to send and

receive data. (Wikipedia)

•Internet of Things(IoT) is no more a new phenomenon;

Apple Siri, Google Homes, IBM’s Watson, Amazon’s Alexis

etc.

•Every day objects both living and non-living are coming

online: Agriculture, Education, Health, Transportation,

Energy, Industrial Automation, Cities, Logistics etc.

•It is estimated by the year 2020 connected devices will

amount about 50 billion with each individual on the

average possessing about 7 connected device (Cisco
