PHENOMENON IN IONOSPHERE
Sources of Ionization
UV Rays from the Sun
Cosmic Rays from Deep Space, Nova
Meteor Trails
Particle Radiation from the Sun Specially From Solar Storm

PHENOMENON IN IONOSPHERE
Process of Ionization in Ionosphere
1.UV rays constantly hit to our atmosphere.
2.The energy radiated by UV rays or other
sources collide with the particles forming the
ionized particles.
3.Radio signal entering to this region, is getting
refracted.
![Page 13: Ionosphere and its effect in Aerial Propagation](https://reader035.fdocuments.us/reader035/viewer/2022062522/58ced6811a28abd4098b58f9/html5/thumbnails/13.jpg)
PHENOMENON IN IONOSPHERE
Recombination in this Layer
1. Particles are constantly in motion.
2. In the process they also recombine to get stable.
3. But particles remaining in this layer will be mostly
ionized.
