Victim Support Jersey

• From Victim Support Jersey perspective, not an account of the inquiry.

• Uncertainty about our role. Not part of the overall co-ordinating group.

• States of Jersey Police employed outside support for victims. Completely separate to our normal links and communication channels with SOJP

Victim Support Jersey

Some thoughts and lessons for VS• We did plan well on the limited information we

had and I believe provided a good service to those who needed us

• We should have ensured we were represented on the co-ordinating groups directly

• We prioritised victim care over being reimbursed and would do this again, but it is harder to get reimbursed post event.
