We are pleased to invite you and your colleagues to attend the AIS Education Research Symposium: Where Research Meets Practice on Tuesday, 20th October 2015 at WatervieW in Sydney’s Bicentennial Park.
The focus of the Symposium is to:
• reportoneducationresearchandfindings
• share education research and experiences
• learn from one another
• examine best practices in education and education research
• positively impact educational practice within and beyond theindependent sector.
Presentations will be varied and include:
• The launch of a comprehensive literature review from the AISEducation Research Council commissioned project PrimaryScience and Technology: Towards Richer Teaching andLearning, being undertaken by Professor Peter Aubusson andthe research team at the University of Technology, Sydney.
• School Based Research Project teams reporting on theirprogress.
• ‘Learning circles’ focusing on topical issues at the intersectionof research and practice.
