Invitation and Call for PapersDear participants

On behalf of the Executive Committee of the Swiss Society of Spine Surgery we would like to invite you to attend our Annual Congress in Nottwil on the 25th of August 2017.

The main topic of the congress deals with a clinically important topic of our practice: cervical Myelo-pathy – Surgery as last step in the treatment chain?

Lectures will be given by distinguished speakers about natural course, Diagnosis and DD, Indication and Outcome of Surgery of this demanding entity.

The highlight will be the key note lecture by one the world’s most recognized spine surgeons, Michael G. Fehlings, Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Toronto and Head of the Spinal Program at the Toronto Western Hospital.

Time is calculated for discussion and discourse and we would like to encourage you to actively parti-cipate and share your own experiences and opinions with us.

After the striking success of the free communications session last year we will repeat this session this year after lunch and would like to invite and encourage especially our young colleagues to present their current research.

Members Meeting is fixed at the end of our morning session before lunch.

Looking forward to seeing you again in Nottwil, Canton Lucerne.
