The China-Latin America and the Caribbean International Exposition, hosted by the China Chamber of International Commerce, organized by the Zhuhai Municipal People's Government, the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province,the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangdong Committee, the China (Guangdong) Pilot Free Trade Zone -- Hengqin New Area of Zhuhai, will be held from November 9 to 11, 2017 in the Zhuhai International Convention & Exhibition Center in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, China. The China-Latin America and the Caribbean International Exposition is aimed at giving full play to the reform and opening up of Guangdong Pilot Free Trade Zone under the “Early and Pilot Implementation” Policy, amplifying the unique advantage of the close ties between Macao and Portuguese speaking countries, and further enhancing the economic and trade cooperation level between China and Latin America and the Caribbean countries (hereinafter referred to as “Latin American countries” ), with the objective to promote cross-border cooperation, and create opening up new bright spot. The CLAC Expo provides an economy and trade platform to build friendly contacts between China and Latin American enterprises, a communication platform to expand the Maritime Silk Road to Latin America, a development platform to help promote the deep economic integration of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao. To this end, the Organizing Committee has the honor to invite Chinese and foreign leaders, ministerial officials, ambassadors of the relevant countries to China, representatives of international regional organizations, representatives of state-level business associations and representatives of large enterprises from China and abroad to participate in the exhibition, with the vision to advance pragmatic cooperation and to share development opportunities.

This exposition is planned to be held in a total exhibition area of 30,000 square meters, with the expectation to attract 300 to 500 domestic and foreign exhibitors, including national and regional enterprises from Latin America and enterprises from China's Mainland, Hong Kong and Macao. In the same period, we will hold three forums, the China-LAC Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum, the China-LAC Service Trade and Outsourcing Cooperation Forum, the Congress of Chinese Members of Dialogue with Latin American & China-LAC Entrepreneurs Council, and cultural and sports activities, such as artistic performances and the Latin American Football Competition.

Overview of the 2017 China-Latin America and the Caribbean International Exposition

II. Exhibition Planning

1. Exhibition area of Latin America features and national pavilions of honored guests

This exhibition area of about 15,000 square meters gathers Latin American enterprises and institutions, with the purpose to exhibit the Latin American featured products, agricultural products, culture tourism and sports related products, health care services, mineral products and other contents. Other international companies that have economic and trade cooperation with Latin American countries are also invited to exhibit in this area. There could also be found national pavilions of honored guests from Latin American countries where the honored guest’s featured image and key industries will be exhibited.

2. Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay Exhibition Area and China National Pavilion

This exhibition area of about 10,000 square meters features key enterprises from Guangdong province, Hong Kong and Macao and enterprises that have economic and trade cooperation with Latin American countries. There could also be found the China National Pavilion, which exhibits the cooperation results between China, namely Guangdong and Zhuhai, and Latin American countries.

3. China-Latin American cooperation exhibition area

This exhibition area of about 5,000 square meters welcomes key enterprises from other provinces that have have economic and trade cooperation with Latin American countries.

III. Exhibition and Investment Recruitment Policy1. Charge for exhibition stand and subsidiesThe following is the official criteria for stand charge of CLAC EXPO:

High-quality and important exhibitors verified by the Committee are able to enjoy a waiver of stand charge to a certain extent.

2. Subsidies for Construction of Custom-built StandsHigh-quality and important exhibitors verified by the Committee can enjoy the exemption of the whole construction fee; other common exhibitors can enjoy part of the exemption of the construction fee.

3. Subsidies of Reception of Exhibitors and Trade and Business Visitors(1) Limit of Indexa. Exhibitors with a stand area under 108㎡ are allowed to apply for no more than 2 people.b. Exhibitors with a stand area of 108㎡ and above are allowed to apply for no more than 3 people.c. Each enterprise is allowed to apply for no more than 2 trade and business visitors.(2) Items of Subsidiesa. Meals Cost: Free meal service during the period of exhibition is offered by the Committee.b. Accommodation Fee: Exhibitors/ trade and business visitors verified by the Committee are provided by the Committee with accommodation for 1-3 nights in designated hotels in the city of Zhuhai (Organized by the committee, if accommodated in non-designated hotels, the visitors or exhibitors will be responsible for the respective fee.)c.Transportation expense: Exhibitors/ trade and business visitors verified by the Committee are able to enjoy the subsidies of transportation expense to a certain extent (subsidies of plane/train/ferry boat ticket from inside or outside of the border domestic and overseas to Zhuhai).
