Dear Sir or Madam. ,
The Young Citizens Danube Network was founded in July 2010 as part of the European
Union Strategy for Danube Region (EUSDR) with the aim of bringing young people togetherto exchange experience and ideas and to give them opportunity to participate in shaping the
region’s and their own future.
We are happy to invite you to attend the opening ceremony of our conference “The Young
Generation of the Danube Area as a Key to European Integration” that will take place at
Andrássy University on June 17th, 2011 at 6pm. If you are interested you are kindly invited
to follow the whole conference which lasts until June 19th
, 2011 1pm. Your appearance would
underline your dedication to the EUSDR and especially the young generation which is, in our
interpretation, the key to a successful EUSDR and the European integration as a whole. If you
like to join the conference please write a mail to [email protected]. We are only able to
welcome registered persons.
The three day conference is expected to gather approximately 50 young Danubians who will
be given the possibility to partake in interdisciplinary workshops and discuss challenges of the
Danube region. YCDN aims at provoking a dialogue among young people coming from all 14
countries of the Danube region and enabling young generation to successfully learn from each
other and share and expand their views of the regional cooperation and youth.
Please let us know beforehand if you can attend our conference. We are more than glad to
give our full support if you have any questions regarding our network or the conference as
such.
We thank you for your interest and your support!
