INVITATION: People on the Move Event Date: November 18, 2015 Location: University of Amsterdam, Roeterseilandcampus J/K Room 1.18. Valckenierstraat 65-67 1018 XE Amsterdam You are hereby invited to attend the Medecins Sans Frontieres and the University of Amsterdam co-organized event on ‘People on the Move.’ The aim is to bring together academic and practitioners’ perspectives by engaging in debates regarding contemporary global displacement, population movement and the humanitarian system linked to dilemmas providing assistance and protection to mobile populations. Two articles (to be published in 2016) written by MSF employees, focused on Protracted Displacement in East Africa and the Rohingya Peoples Plight in South East Asia will be presented and discussed.
