Enjoy well balanced activities concerning sustainable topics (energy, e-mobility, recycling etc.), visits of cities (Linz, Salzburg, Vienna) & outdoor activities (lakes, mountains)”

Languages: English (basic knowledge is recommended)

Place:

- Upper Austria (province of Austria): Linz, Wels, Salzkammergut - city of Salzburg & Vienna

Lodging: Homestay

Costs:

Journey to and from the nearest airport or train station; some pocket money will be required.

Program:

During this camp you will get to know various sights of Austria. Whilst enjoying the company of other young people from all over Europe, you get to experience some of the most beautiful Cultural and Natural World Heritages of Vienna, Salzburg and the Alpine region. In the same time there is the chance see practical examples of sustainabil-ity in which Austria has taken up a leading role globally.

Insurance: Participant is obliged to pay 41.- € on arrival for insurance against illness and accidents, including transport home if this should be necessary – or show a certificate of his/her local insurance company in English or German, which clearly states equivalence of insurance coverage. In case of any doubt, the organizers are obliged to demand payment of the 41.- € insur-ance fee!

Arrival: at Linz Airport or Wels Train Station

Participants:

Maximum number of participants: 10 Acceptation will be made strictly in order of arrival of applications! No pre-reservations accepted without a completed application form including all signatures. Application forms signed before 18th of March 2015 are not ac-cepted. A reasoned statement of why one is interested in the specific topic of the camp is esssential. The decision about acceptance or refusal of the candidate is strictly within the responsibility of the organizing club. The or-ganizing club will inform applicants about their decision as soon as possible. Preferably one participant per country only.

Age: Minimum age: 16 Maximum age: 20

Application: Closing date: April 30th 2013 Please use your districts form or RI application form for „Short-term Pro-gram“ (PA2-763-EN-(793)994-20M/25), send copies to all Contact Adress-es! Electronic submission of applications is highly appreciated!

Special remarks: Outdoor-clothes, trekking-shoes and bathing-cloths are recommend-ed; during the camp smoking and alcohol is strictly forbidden
