Macedonian Occupational Safety and Health Association (MOSHA), in period from 01 till 05 April 2019, is organizing study visit which goal is acquiring knowledge and connecting with professional from Balcan and representatives from EU countries.

We would like to mark International Women’s Day through sharing occupational safety and healht ideas, views and topics, connecting OSH and women workers.

The study trip it is consisted by visit of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU OSHA), whose goal is to make European safer, healthier and more productive jobs - bringing benefit to the economy - employers, employees and governments.

Key activities of the Agency are:

1. Campaigns on healthy jobs - conducting two-year campaigns on raising awareness on occupational safety and health issues in EU countries and the pre-accession countries from the region.

2. ESENER Survey - a detailed survey that provides an overview on how health and safety at work can be managed in the companies.

3. OSHwiki - an online encyclopedia of accurate and reliable OSH information.

4. Future projects - outline and study of new risks in the field of OSH through their own projects.

5. OSH review - sharing views on specific OSH topics and setting priorities.

6. NAPO movies - series of short, simple films without narrator, on important topics on safety and health at the workplace

MAKEДОНСКО ЗДРУЖЕНИЕЗА ЗАШТИТА ПРИ РАБОТА

In addition of a working visit to the Agency - EU OSHA, you will have the opportunity to get to know the city Bilbao, which is one of the most important industrial and tourist cities in Spain. It is the main and largest city of Basque Country of Spain and an industrial center with refineries and a developed chemical industry. What makes Bilbao specific and special is its contemporary architecture, one of the most important cultural centers in the Iberian Peninsula. In addition, it is in an area with iron-rich mines.

The second visit is to the city of Santander, the capital city of the autonomous province of Cantabria, on the northern coast of Spain.

ARRANGEMENT:

Accommodation and transport

- The price for accommodation in a double room, bed and breakfast, airplane, transfer airport - hotel - airport, included tour guide, visit of the city Santander and registration fee for the study visit per participant is 628 EUR. For accommodation in a single room additional cost of 135 EUR.

The price of the arrangement includes:

• air transport with airport tax included;

• 4 nights with breakfast in a 3 * hotel;

• visit the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work;

• visit and see sight of Santander;

• Bilbao view with a tour guide;

• public transport for attendance on educational event at EU OSHA premises;

• transfer airport - hotel - airport.

The price does not include:

• travel insurance, tickets for cultural monuments and individual optional costs.

The quality of the service and the choice of accommodation oversees the partner from Macedonia (whose main activity is traveling and visiting countries outside the borders of the Republic of Macedonia) as our long-standing collaborator.

• Deadline for registration is 07 February 2019, due to the maintenance of price of the air ticket. Guaranteed registration fee and advance payment in amount of 25% of the stated amount.

• After passing the stated term, there is a possibility for changing the price of arrangement depending on the price of air ticket.

According to the Rulebook for education of occupational safety experts this seminar is scored with 10 points for passive participation.
