    offering institutional and private clients direct, secondary and primaryinvesting capabilities.

    Role Responsibilities:

    Responsible for the preparation and distribution of investorcommunications, with an emphasis on client reports for private equityfund-of-funds/feeder funds and real estate products distributedthrough AFS, for private clients. Ideal candidate will have previousexperience in report writing, investor communications, and will alsopossess strong finance and business writing skills. Candidate mustbe prepared to interact with PWM bankers, brokers, and clients, aswell as investment and accounting professionals at the underlyingprivate equity funds.

    Duties include:

    Work in a team of investment professionals who areresponsible for the preparation and review of quarterly clientreporting with respect to over 30 private equity fund-of-funds/feeder funds and real estate products currently undermanagement with an additional 3-4 new funds within the nextyear. This includes:

    On a quarterly basis, reviewing, digesting and extractinginformation from the reports provided by the underlyingprivate equity fund sponsors, and drafting the relevantinformation to be included in the DB client quarterlyreports (in accordance with confidentiality agreements inplace) in a clear and concise manner that is easilyunderstood by the private client investor base;Preparing, analyzing and reviewing quantitative fund andportfolio company performance information for inclusion inthe reports. Liaise with the administrator to determinecorrect quantitative data for reporting purposes. Ability tounderstand portfolio company performance and fundvaluation drivers is critical;Drafting and reviewing interim snapshot reports whichdetail the most recent info since the last QR includingestimated values and recent cash flows in an easy tofollow reference tool for management and the sales force;Coordinating required internal Compliance review andapprovals;Ensuring timely distribution of reports to clients and PWMrelationship managers;

    Drafting and reviewing capital call and distribution notices toinvestors; as well as corresponding investor wire instructiondetail.Coordinating the mailings of investor communications with thirdparty vendors.Coordinating the collection of fund closing subscriptiondocuments, including working directly with RelationshipManagers to assure all documents are complete, andmaintaining a global daily schedule to track client orders.Assisting in the preparation of Fund Marketing documents.Ongoing communication with underlying financial sponsorsregarding portfolio company activities and their impact onvaluation.Ensuring that the internal Deutsche Bank Private Equity websitehas the most current marketing and fund documents available.With other members of team, coordinating periodic investmentportfolio and valuation reviews.Serving as PE product specialist in connection with requests forinformation from DB PWM relationship managers and clients(i.e. regarding fund performance, capital calls, tax questions,and other fund-related activities) as well as fund performanceupdate meetings.Transfers/Name Changes - Identify transfer type/name changeand submit document request. Coordinate with RMs,

  • StateStreet and external counsel to draft deed of assignment. Collect and review completed transfer documents, DOA andrelevant back up documentation received. Coordinate withRMs to correct any deficiency in the documents. Providecompleted docs to DBPE for approval. Draft transferacceptance letter and mail/email to clients / RMs / DBPE /StateStreet.

    Requirements & Expertise:

    Bachelors degree2 years experience preferably with private equity and/or realestate industry experienceThe candidate must be motivated; detail oriented, and must beable to independently solve problems. The candidate must havestrong knowledge of Excel and have experience withmanipulation and presentation of data to varied consumers.Good communication skills are essential in the candidate, asthe success of this position requires continual interaction withexternal partners, internal business and finance managers on aglobal basis.

    Proactive team player with positive attitudeMicrosoft office skills required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint andAccess).
