Paracin is located at the heart of Serbia and South East Europe, at the intersection of important traffic lines: at the international highway E-75 leading to Nis and Middle East, 156 km from Belgrade, at the beginning of the international road E-761 to Zajecar and Bulgaria, and near the main road E-760 leading to Krusevac, Montenegro and Croatia. Paracin owns 38 ha of construction land within the industrial zone Zmic, which is perfectly positioned between the Corridor X, regional road R-214 and the international railroad. The municipal Office for local economic development maintains partner relationships with the businesses. Local training center for workforce development, which was founded in cooperation with Holcim, is a good example of public-private partnership in Paracin. The average salary in Paracin is € 450, and depending on the number of new jobs created, the investors may be entitled to land development fee reduction and financial incentives from € 2,000 to 4,000 per employee.
