The Schuh’s were building both a new business and family when they came to Unison Credit Union. Emily and Jon each belonged to other credit unions, but wanted to find one that was convenient and fit their needs without an exorbitant amount of “fees and hoops to jump through.” Jon stopped in the Kaukauna South branch and met with one of Unison’s Financial Services Representatives. “Erika [Arnoldussen] made opening an account with Unison feel personal, comfortable and a ton of fun to work with,” he said. That was just the beginning. As the Schuh family and business grew, so did their need for more products and services. Emily said that throughout the years Unison “has helped us in so many different areas of our life; including extra money for our wedding, our vehicles and of course helping Jon’s business grow.” One of Emily’s favorite credit union services, to keep all the business and personal finances organized, is It’s Me 247 online banking. The Schuh’s were building both a new business and family when they came to Unison Credit Union. Emily and Jon each belonged to other credit unions, but wanted to find one that was convenient and fit their needs without an exorbitant amount of “fees and hoops to jump through.”

Jon stopped in the Kaukauna South branch and met with one of Unison’s Financial Services Representatives. “Erika

[Arnoldussen] made opening an account with Unison feel personal, comfortable and a ton of fun to work with,” he said. That was just the beginning.

As the Schuh family and business grew, so did their need for more products and services. Emily said that throughout the years Unison “has helped us in so many

different areas of our life; including extra money for our wedding, our vehicles and of course helping Jon’s business grow.”

One of Emily’s favorite credit union services, to keep all the business and personal finances organized, is It’s Me 247 online banking. She and Jon use it consistently throughout the day and do not know where they would be without it!

The couple recently expanded IJ’s Finish Experience and opened a flooring and remodeling store, Schuh~Less Flooring and Remodeling, LLC, located on the west side of Appleton. They offer a variety of flooring products as well as full kitchen and bath remodeling.

When Emily and Jon aren’t working, they enjoy spending time out in Little Chute and Kaukauna.

They love meeting new people,

especially other members of the Unison family.

Thank you, Schuh’s, for choosing Unison!

We are excited to announce our 2013 Unison Credit Union John Aman Memorial Scholarship recipients! This year, Unison is proud to present four $1,000 scholarships. The awards are given in memory of John Aman, the first CEO of Unison Credit Union. His commitment to the credit union industry and community were evident through his passion for volunteerism and putting the needs of our members first. Winners were selected based on their ability to demonstrate the credit union philosophy of “people helping people” through volunteerism and giving back to their communities.

The following students are recipients of Unison Credit Union’s 2013 John Aman Memorial Scholarships:

Ben Shortess, a Kaukauna High School graduate, has logged many hours of service through his work with the Community Blood Center, Project Linus, Safe Kids, Outagamie Historical Society, Key Club, Soccer Booster Club and Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry. Ben will attend UW-Oshkosh in fall to study International Business and Spanish.

Ben Luitjens, a Little Chute High School graduate, has volunteered at the Salvation Army, for the MDA summer camp as a camp counselor, was part of the Outreach Program for Soccer to help children with special needs play soccer and coached for the Heart of the Valley Soccer Association. Ben will attend Carroll University in the fall to pursue a degree in Exercise Science.

Amanda Boylan, a Wrightstown High School graduate, has given back to her community through volunteering at the Salvation Army, Green Bay Botanical Gardens, Angels’ Nursing Home, Art Street, the New Zoo, Brown County Library and at her church. Amanda will attend the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities to study graphic design and architecture.

Kelsey Latimer, a Brillion High School graduate, has logged numerous hours with the National Honor Society, the Salvation Army, Sting Cancer, teaching summer school and teaching vacation Bible school at her church. Kelsey will attend Viterbo University to study nutrition.
