How do Developers make money?

• Developers set subscription billing plan for application

• Intuit charges Revenue Share % + Usage Fee

• Intuit retains 20%

• Intuit charges to developers are tiered (more users, lower charges)

• Revenue Share covers:

• Billing including payment processing fees, billing infrastructure and the “checkout” experience

• Marketing and support services

• Usage Fee = amount of time (in whole hours) a Licensee (End-User) spends using a Developer Application multiplied by the amount of data (in megabytes) the subscriber stores in the Application

• Each month, Intuit calculates the following and pays the developer:

How do Developers make money?

• Revenue Share & Usage Fees based on a tiered schedule

• Each month Intuit calculates the number of Active Users, excluding all free trial users of your application

End-User Pricing

• Developers can establish subscription billing plans for each application. Today:

• Establish length of free trial period (in days)

• Price subscription rates for discrete # of users

• Intuit automatically charges End-User accounts and collects subscription fees monthly on the anniversary date of the application subscription

• No billing event can be below $5
