About us Westminster Kingsway College is the leading Hospitality School in the UK. We take pride in our wine and spirit education and it is something that we have a deep felt passion for. We spend a great deal of time ensuring we are up to date with the latest developments in the wine and spirits world so that we can pass the knowledge on to our students.
Our courses are lead by engaging tutors who use real life examples to communicate and add meaning to your learning. Fun and informative lessons with tastings and where applicable food made by our chefs.
Who are our courses for? We are able to tailor our courses to suit you therefore there is something for everyone. You can start at the basics like learning how to taste and appreciate wine, what to serve wine in and how to store it or jump straight in with the complex subject of food and wine matching.

Courses include:
Beginners Guide to Wine (1 session) Start at the beginning with a step by step approach to tasting and appreciating wine. Learn which glasses suit the various wines as well as how to store, open and serve wine like a professional.
White Wines of the World (3 sessions) Make side by side comparisons of three white grape varieties and their nuances from around the world. Explore: Sauvignon, Chardonnay and Riesling.
Red Wines of the World (3 sessions) Make side by side comparisons of five red grape varieties and their nuances from around the world. Explore: Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz/Syrah and Pinot Noir.
Food & Wine Matching (1 session) The session begins with the theories of matching food and wine. The second half is dedicated to practical matching with food produced by our chefs.
Wine & Cheese Pairing (1 session) Using your new matching skills your tutor will guide you through the classic combinations as well as some suggestions that might test your palate.
Fine Wine and Regions of France (6 sessions) Understand the conditions of their environment, the climate, soil, grape growing techniques, production and maturation. Learn how these all affect the style of wine and the price. Regions include: Bordeaux, Burgundy, Rhone, Loire, Alsace and Champagne.

Whatever your level there is a course for you
Centrally located Westminster Kingsway College is the ideal central London location. Five minutes walk from Victoria Station.
Courses are held on Thursday evenings between 18.00 and 21.00.
All 3 hour courses cost £69 per person.
