Introduction
In Taylor’s Lakeside Campus, the opposite of the educational block lays a commercial block, the SyOpz mall@ Boardwalk. That place has already became one of the students’ favorite hangout spot as all the food and beverages, stationaries, electronic devices, etc. are provided there.
But, the students have to walk all the way to the place in order to get the stuff they wanted.
The commercial activities going on in that block are quite welcomed by the students. But there are still something that the mall doesn’t have.
Hence, the commercial activities that we propose to benefit the students is printing, sport& recreational equipment, pharmacy and electronic accessories.
Site Analysis
The site we have chosen is in Taylor’s Lakeside
Campus Block C, Lower Ground Floor. It is located right in front of the lake.
There is a two stories of space not being utilized. Therefore, we decided to turn this place into a place which benefits the students around campus.

The structure is made out of concrete columns and glass walls to allow potential customers to see the items for sale and services available. The targeted customers are students from campus who require printing services for assignments. Other than that, studentswho live at the accommodation in the commercial block are also
targeted customers.
Having a two floor structure allows for the useof less space in the campus. The bottom floor will be used for
printing services and the sales of sports and recreational equipment. The top floor will be used for the sale of pharmaceutical products.
About the Structure
BENEFITS
With our shop, students will be able to print at a larger size without having to leave campus to visit another printing shop. Selling sports and recreational products also give the students a convenient place to buy whatever they need. The pharmaceutical products gives students who live in the accommodation in the commercial block a location to buy small medication without having to leave the campus. Our shop is also in the campus area and therefore is only for students, lecturers and any other staff that works in Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus.
