COMPETITIVE GRANTS
✓ Support for innovation or demonstration grants designed to advance the appraisal industry
✓ Grantees can test assumptions and processes or solve critical problems
✓ Applications will define, test and disseminate conclusions about outcomes
✓ Limited Funds with specific application deadlines
ALLOWABLE COSTS
✓ Three Part Test – Allowable, Allocable and Reasonable
✓ Grants can cover staff, facilities, equipment, supplies, training, consultants and other costs
✓ Application instructions will provide examples of eligible costs

Grantees must follow federal grant requirements in the Code of Federal Regulations (2 CFR 200)
ASC will conduct training and provide Technical assistance for grantees on the grant admin. requirements

POST-AWARD GRANTS MANAGEMENT
Grantees will have accounts in the Payment Management System operated by the Department of Health and Human Services to:
✓ Withdraw grant funds from their accounts as they need them
