Creating a Personal List

A personal list is one based on your personal patient selections. It differs from the Criteria based list in several ways.

The criteria list gave you all patients in a certain location, or if you choose by order you can just see patients who have certain orders, for example those who need nutrition consults or who need certain respiratory treatments.

Patients will remove from criteria based lists when they no longer meet the criteria to be on there. For example the list is patients on 2NW, a patient transferred from 2NW will “fall” off the list

212/5/2010

Page 22: Introduction to SAC: Patient Lists, Results and Patient ...physicians.clarkmemorial.org/EclipsysPtInfo_Results_Lists.pdfwhen you start Sunrise Clinical Manager. It provides easy access

Personal Lists

With personal lists you select specific patients to be on your list. For example you are an RN on 2NW, you have patients in

2401-1, 2403-1, 2403-2, 2404-1 and 2410-1

You want to only see these patient so that it is quick for you to see new orders, results and other information without seeing all the patients on the unit.

This list you will maintain, meaning if the patient is transferred or discharged, or no longer in your care, you must remove the patient from your list.
