What is IDE?• Integrated

Development Environment (IDE)

• Collection of integrated programs (tools) to write assembly programs, assemble, execute, and debug programs.

Summary:Create A New Project

• New Project —> Microsoft Embedded —> Standalone —>NEXT• Select family as ADVANCED 8-BIT ; then select PIC18F45K20 —> NEXT —> Simulator• Select MPASM compiler—> NEXT• Set project name: MyFirstASMProjectP_V1 / Note: Set as main project is checked off —> FINISH• Click on Project Tab —> Click on Source Files —> Add New File; select Assembly —> ASM / Note

that the file shows up. Then copy your code.• In order to see all the icons, go to VIEW —> Tool Bar. Now go to Tools—> Embed—> Code
