A brief is released four weeks before your exam.

No formal teaching will take place, but you can work independently on the pre-release material during this time.

You MUST respond to the task in role!

The Questions

There are FOUR tasks – the order and type of task may vary.

i.e.There could be a task to test your knowledge and research of existing texts (i.e. video games) with particular reference to the audience or perhaps marketing and promotion methods.

You may be asked to write a pitch/proposal and provide justification for a new video game. This could include details of the institution, the characters, format or narrative.

You may be asked to carry out a production task – it could be to storyboard a video-game trailer, or it may be to produce a poster advertising a new video game.

More about Quantic Dream

The genre is classed as Interactive Drama.

They have 180 employees.

Quantic Dream announced a new game on 4 June 2012 at E3, which will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 3 in October 2013, called Beyond: Two Souls.

On 21 March 2013, they announced that they are working on a PlayStation 4 game. The Dark Sorcerer is a tech demo for the PlayStation 4.
