The Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution

provides a legal platform for private firearm

ownership.

1. You are a US Citizen

2. You are NOT a convicted felon

3. You are over the age of 18 (21 for handguns)

In the State of Georgia you can carry a weapon if

you have a Concealed Carry Permit (CCP) from

your local Sheriff’s Office.

If you are going to have a firearm, you NEED to If you are going to have a firearm, you NEED to

have a CCP. If you don’t and you use a firearm

you can be arrested for Carrying a Concealed

Weapon (CCW).

A CCW charge is a misdemeanor (1st offense).
