Objectives:
-Be able to use correctly, and immediately, understand the basic terms describing direction and structures within the CNS.
-Be able to describe what information each stain and technique can provide.
-Be able to describe the major divisions of the CNS and generally describe their relationship in developing and adult brain.

Synapses: cerebellar inputs
Axons: rubrospinal tract decussates (crosses the midline), and descends, to terminate on neurons in the spinal cord. Thus, we say that the red nucleus projects to the spinal cord.
