Realising DreamsDiesel Jeans Land Rover DefenderBy using nearly 30 pairs of the iconic jeans,together with vintage-look Napa leather tocomplement the bodywork, Ruskin’s teamhas translated a client’s vision to producea truly unique vehicle.

Every component of the re-upholsterywas hand-made at Ruskin Design’sworkshop to create a bespoke interiorincorporating Diesel jeans, whichwere donated by Diesel London afterhearing about the project.

Working closely with the client,Ruskin’s design team ensured thatneither the ‘utilitarian’ nature of thetruck or the essence of the iconic Dieselbrand is compromised.

Revitalising a LegendBumblebee Chevy CameroWhen the original Transformers movie wascreated, four of each of the transformercharacter vehicles were made for filming anda further two for publicity. ThisBumblebee was one of the publicityvehicles, made as a perfect replica of thefilm versions.

Arriving in a very tired state, theowner had sourced new seats andother parts from the USA and askedthe team at Ruskin to returnBumblebee to his former glory.

Following the style and design of thefilm, the team re created a car ahead ofits time in design, a real showstopper, asloud and bright, as it is iconic.

Bumblebee is now used as a charity fundraising vehicle, visiting children’s hospitals, charityevents and travelling the length and breadth of thecountry delighting fans.

Traditional IconBlack & Brown Land Rover DefenderThe owner of this Defender waslooking to create a hardwearingvehicle for a busy family whilstdesigning an interior reminiscent ofsmoking jackets and ChesterfieldWingback chairs.

By merging standard auto grainand luxurious Napa feel leather inan accented colour scheme as thedesign strategy; the effect of sportscar combined with country houselibrary has been created.

A hardwearing utility vehicle with seatsstrong enough to withstand the kids and

the dogs whilst sitting in utter, unabashedluxury is the end result.
