Summary: The CDSE team will co-operate with SMEs to acceleratetheir innovation capabilities andcapacity. The team will identifychallenges, capabilities, currentprocesses, models, and toolkitadopted and assists to re-engineer by using the proveninnovation engine model from theIE1 to improve processes, enableSMEs to adopt the innovationtoolkit to accelerate knowledgetransformation.
BCU DMT Lab:
• Dissemination of digital media technology knowledge, particularly through the articulation of relevant technologies and exemplar products at industry engagement events.
• Supporting SMEs in assessing and overcoming technical hurdles in the development of digital media products.
• Independent evaluation of candidate digital media offerings from SMEs. Facilitation of access to specialist studio facilities and computing hardware and software.
• Range of technical support that will aid SMEs in developing and delivering appropriate solutions for the transport, health and sustainability markets.
• Assistance and/or collaboration in applying for relevant technology funding (Innovate UK, H2020, EPSRC)
• Access to specialist knowledge in Data Analytics; Machine Learning; Audio, Image and Video Processing and Analysis; Augmented and Virtual Reality
