IntroducingtheMalteseAssociationofPsychiatry’s4thAnnualConference

TheMalteseAssociationofPsychiatry(MAP)isproudtopresentitsAnnualConferenceforthe4thconsecutive year. This initiative aims for theMAP to continueworking on reaching one of itsmain objectives as an Association: to promote continuous professional development and thehighestlevelofprofessionalcompetenceofpsychiatristsinMalta.This year we will focus on Suicide Prevention and Self Harm Behaviors. The Conference willfeature confirmed international keynote speakers. Local researchwill also be showcasedwithspeakersfromdifferentprofessionalbackgroundsgivingaholisticperspectiveofSuicideandSelfHarmBehavioursinMalta.ThetopicwillbetackledfromdifferenttimelinesofmanagementrangingfromRiskAssessmentto Postvention with speakers portraying their knowledge and experience both from aprofessionalandthepersonalpointofview.TheConferencespansover2days,withthe2nddayincluding different Workshops led by our keynote speakers focusing on community care,intensivepsychiatriccare,awarenessandfamilysupport.TargetAudience:
