Business leaders need to be well connected with their peers and a wide range of official bodies. We can show you how and where to contact government, regulators, and other authorities. Job-function support

In 2017 the BPCC actively participated in the consultation process regarding legal changes with CIT / PIT legislation. Split payment of VAT is a current issue facing businesses in Poland. We have also been active on issues around excise duty. We will continue to support our members in terms of regulator meetings (top-down level), in-house briefings and specialist advice via tax & finance initiatives. CFOs, finance directors/managers and experts can all benefit and contribute.

We invite business development and sales & marketing executives to work with us and promote their own offers in a friendly and efficient way. Relationship building, access to dedicated target groups, special offers, direct marketing, customised product launches, PR campaigns and media support can be effectively delivered in partnership with a trusted and specialist B2B network of the BPCC members, business contacts and media channels.

Talk to your future Membership Relationship Managers and plan your action today!

With 26 years of experience, we recognise the need for involvement at the highest executive level. Our efforts directed towards CEOs, presidents, partners, business owners and country managers are a direct answer to their limited time and availability. Dedicated events (business breakfasts, Annual General Meeting, ministerial and VIP meetings, CEO networking) that happen across the year allow for peer-to-peer contact and access to the exclusive CEO-level formats to maximise benefits.

The HR function in today’s business is becoming increasingly important. Talent management, employer branding, coaching and loyalty on one side and labour code, employer’s obligations, compensation and benefits on the other. The BPCC responds to that environment with HR policy group meetings, seminars, reports and professional advice from experts. We encourage all HR directors and managers to actively engage with our broad range of HR offerings – since the best investment is always in people!

The BPCC’s membership covers a wide range of business functions; CEOs, MDs and country managers, CFOs and finance directors, HR directors and sales & marketing directors.

BPCC Regional Offices

Since 2015, the BPCC has been organising Manufacturing Industry Policy Group meetings at factories across these provinces. Factory visits – sharing best practice between the BPCC’s manufacturing members, who meet to discuss issues common to all sectors of industry – have become popular. High-quality business networking remains central to what the BPCC does regionally, in particular offering members the chance to meet representatives of other business communities and local authority leaders. Over the years, the BPCC’s Wrocław and Krakow offices have established a calendar of high-profile business events that bring together key decision-makers from private and public sectors, where members forge new contacts that help with business development and improve the environment for enterprise in the region.

Southern Poland is home to two of the country’s most dynamic manufacturing sectors – automotive and aerospace, as well as hosting the bulk of the foreign investment in the shared service centre/business process outsourcing sectors.

With regular flight connections between the UK and Wrocław, Katowice, Kraków and Rzeszów airports, the links between southern Poland and Britain have never been better; the BPCC’s regional offices are here to help you succeed in crossing that bridge and finding the right contacts once you arrive. The BPCC’s Warsaw office covers the rest of Poland with a focus on the capital, where the headquarters of most foreign investors are located. Poland’s second-largest city, Łódź, is also serviced from the Warsaw office.

Headquartered in Warsaw and with a registered office in London, the BPCC has a long-established network of regional offices. The BPCC’s offices in Kraków and Wrocław have been supporting UK firms since the 1990s, set up as the first wave of inbound UK investment began operations in Małopolska and Lower Silesia. Local knowledge – contacts with provincial authorities, regional development agencies, special economic zones and local business clubs – is crucial to long-term business success. In recent years, the BPCC’s regional offices have expanded into new territories, covering the entire south of the country, from the German to the Ukrainian borders.

The Kraków office looks after the Małopolska, Silesia, Podkarpacie and Świętokrzyskie provinces, while the Wrocław office is responsible for Lower Silesia, Wielkopolska, Opolskie and Lubuskie.

experts and managers from public and private sectors. Innovative, effective healthcare is the policy goal.

Food Policy Group brings together producers and retailers and service providers to the sector – marketing, certification and logistics. The group meets with government officials and regulators; representatives of Poland’s food producers’ and retailers’ organisations.

Public Procurement Policy Group is for managers from firms bidding for public-sector tenders, and for advisers specialising in this area. It’s a forum about issues met while bidding for public tenders in Poland, and suggesting improvements. Regulators, policy-makers and legislators attend meetings, promoting professional standards in procurement.

Energy & Environment Policy Group discusses technologies that will help business contribute profitably to sustainable power generation and environmental protection. Representatives of government, regulators and local authorities take part.

Transport Infrastructure & Logistics Policy Group meets with representatives of government agencies and ministries, pressing for improved transport links and promoting Poland as a location for logistics operations.

Public Private Partnerships (PPP) Policy Group engages with government, parliament and local authorities to discuss private-sector delivery of public infrastructure. UK experience offers lessons from which Poland can learn.

Corporate Social Responsibility Policy Group promotes best practice in corporate behaviour and in the way firms interact with the social and natural environments. Sustainability – building businesses to last rather than ones focused on short-term results – is an important part of the group’s philosophy. It offers learning opportunities for BPCC members, and serves as a platform for voicing ideas to government.

Human Resources Policy Group promotes active employment policies and standards, drawing on global best practice. As a platform for dialogue between BPCC members and the public sector, its meetings often include representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, local labour offices, regulators and other officials. The group also focuses on vocational education, soft-skills coaching, leadership and assessment.

Manufacturing Industries Policy Group is a platform for sharing best practice and discussing issues common to all manufacturers, such as energy costs, environmental protection, supply chain and skills. Meetings take place in members’ factories.

Real Estate & Construction Policy Group brings together members with an interest in property – developers, architects, contractors, facilities managers and agents. Meetings focus on issues such planning permissions, investor protection and the regulatory environment for the sector. The group also promotes green building and BIM.

Tax & Finance Reform Policy Group focuses on deregulation, taxes and social security. The aim is to help improve the tax system, targeting barriers to investment, business growth and employment. Making tax payment simpler and improving Poland’s business environment are its priorities. Finance ministry representatives often attend the meetings.

Telecoms, Media and Technology Policy Group addresses regulatory issues affecting firms across these sectors – intellectual property, cloud computing, e-marketing, the Digital Single Market, data protection and future trends.

Healthcare Policy Group is a forum for the exchange of best practice between the UK and Poland, and between BPCC members and the Polish public sector. The group discusses e-health, clinical trials, personalised medicine, coordinated care, healthy ageing and private healthcare with decision-makers,

The BPCC’s policy groups were all formed as a response to members’ needs to discuss specific issues around certain areas of policy with the relevant representatives of government – ministries, regulators, agencies and local authorities. The groups are also a platform for the exchange of best practice between members. All 12 of the groups’ agendas are set by members on the basis of their most pressing concerns.
