You’re important to pLeXuS, and we know making retirement planning

decisions can be daunting. that’s why we’ve been hard at work improving

our 401(k) plan. the plexus retirement Committee, along with the

professional expertise of its investment advisor, Francis investment

Counsel, re-evaluated the entire investment fund lineup in our 401(k) plan.

this in-depth portfolio analysis will provide you with new funds for greater

diversification opportunities, a streamlined menu and lower cost funds with

solid performance records.

With the goal of achieving a “best in class” investment menu the current

fund lineup will be improved by changing existing funds to lower cost share

classes, replacing or eliminating funds and adding new asset classes for

greater diversification opportunities. While maintaining a diversified

mix of investments doesn’t guarantee against loss, it does offer more

opportunities for growth along with a smoother ride. For that reason, the

five new asset categories, listed on the opposite page, will be added

to increase your diversification opportunities. this “best in class”

investment menu will be available beginning 02 maY 2013.

in addition, we’re offering expanded education and personal advisory

services from Francis investment Counsel, an independent investment

advisory firm, so you can get the help you need. For most, making wise

financial decisions is tougher than ever. they’ll provide workshops

and personalized advice to you and your family. You’ll benefit from their

experience and expertise when you meet to establish goals, explore

strategies, and make beneficial changes to your financial plan. it is

important to note that no part of Francis’ compensation is derived from

the investment decisions you make. tHeY HaVe one oBJeCtiVe in

tIPs Bonds: tipS bonds are bonds with inflation protection. they are issued and guaranteed by the Federal Government.; every six months

the face value of the bond (called par value) is adjusted upward by the amount of inflation (Cpi) reported during that period. think of it like a cost-of-

living adjustment. in exchange for this inflation protection, tipS generally are offered with a lower current yield than bonds without this feature.

emerging market Bonds: emerging market countries now comprise two-thirds of the world’s population and nearly

one-half of the world’s manufacturing. as a percent of GDp, economic growth in these regions is exceeding that of the united States. While the

plexus 401(k) plan already offers an emerging market stock fund, this new fund will invest in debt instruments issued by those same emerging

market countries and to a limited extent their corporations.

small-cap International: this fund will invest primarily in faster growing smaller companies located in the developed regions of the world,

primarily europe, Japan, and australia. While the plan offered international-Developed market funds with a focus on large-cap

companies, this new fund will give you exposure to the faster growing small companies within these regions.

Frontier markets: this fund invests in equity securities within the “frontier markets” including africa, South america, and asia. think

of “frontier markets as even more “emerging” than the regions invested in by the existing emerging markets fund which focuses primarily on

Brazil, india, China. While these regions represent some of the strongest growth regions of the world, the “frontier markets” fund will narrow the

focus to the most underdeveloped and fastest growing regions.

hard assets: this fund invests in commodity-based investments or “hard assets” such as oil, corn, gold, steel, and soybeans.

this fund is very volatile, however when mixed with a well-diversified portfolio, it can actually reduce the overall risk of your portfolio.

new target date FundsFor those investors wishing to keep it simple, the t. rowe price target retirement Date Funds will replace the mFS allocation Funds and

the target retirement Date Strategies. each t.rowe price fund is specifically designed for investors with a target retirement date in mind.

the fund managers select a mixture of stock, bond, and money market funds tailored specifically for your age group. as you near your target

retirement date, the fund managers gradually shift your investment allocation to a more conservative fund mix. the new funds will be available

in five-year increments to allow you to customize your fund selection to your desired retirement year.
