PREFACEThis solutions manual was made available when An Introduction to Mechanics was published, but it soon went out of print. Nevertheless, a number of copies have beencirculated privately and over the years some errors have been discovered. We have corrected all the errors that have come to our attention. A word of caution: These solutions are often terse, more terse that we would provide today.
