The course is divided into two halfs each worth fifty percent of the overall grade.

EXAMThere are two questions.

The first will focus on an unseen extract (superhero movie) where you will analyse the scene.

The second will be to discuss the themes and content within a film chosen, Amelie / Devils Backbone

CourseworkThere are two parts to the coursework

The first is to analyse and research a film of your choice which will include target audience and methods of distribution and exhibition.

The second will be to produce a short film / openig of a film. This will include planning, production and post-produciton working within a group in a chosen role.
